Great recap of your year, happy that it was mostly positive. Being more selective on news feeds is important for everyone's sanity . Your audio production work shows through: composition, overlays, editing. And that great voice! Here's to a better year in 2025! 🥳🎉

Both types of butter shown seem small to me are they 1/2lbs sticks? As a Canadian we have butter as 454g(1lbs) of basically 2 1/2cup cubes(packed as one block) or 4 1/4 cup sticks(indvidualy warped in a box).

Americans measuring anything than metric ;) Don't forget generic FDM printing is not food-safe. it's mainly not about materials, but nozzles! I'd go with covering the print with food-safe UV resin. Anyway nice video.

you should see how Canada dose it we use metric and imperial. Many times switching units as you go. Like if I'm making something I will use what ever unit is closest so if the one inch mark is the length than ill use that but if 20mm is closer ill use that lol.

what a waste of a printer and talent. you destroyed the simplicity of an actual rolling pin. making parts to something that doesnt need parts, makes it more breakable more dirty.. and guess what... one dowel. thats it. thats all you need.
@ramellcollins815225 күн бұрын
3d printed materials are not food safe due to the nature of it being an additive material any micro pockets inside of the printed material can hold bacteria. That bacteria over time can grow and if you roll this pin with bacteria onto food you will transfer that bacteria and risk foodborne illness. I did a ton of research on this years ago when I wanted to 3d print plates to serve food on. I have multiple food safe certifications and talked over this with a food scientist and my local health department. Everyone agreed that because bacteria can continue to leech deeper that traditional cleaning methods would not work. Do not do this.

FDM printed PLA is not food safe. This is a bad idea unless you love bacterial infections.
@humanmusiciansareredundant27 күн бұрын
why would you want to have a plastic rolling pin when there are heaps of cheap and good hardwood ones?
@MyBrokenStuff26 күн бұрын
I love the design. This is probably not food safe plastic (consider the die in the plastic even if this is PETG). Also, the tiny gaps between layers will harbor bacteria. You can’t effectively clean a 3D printed object for food safety.
@michiganmudduckradio784925 күн бұрын
@@MyBrokenStuff wood is also porous so im not sure wood technically is much better.
@MyBrokenStuff25 күн бұрын
@@michiganmudduckradio7849 I'm more concerned about the plastic leaching chemicals into the food than I am bacteria in the holes for a rolling pin. I mentioned the harboring bacteria thing for those that might thinking about 3D printed food storage items. You can sterilize wooden rolling pins. I use a short vinegar bath, but you can also use super-hot water. The vinegar might be safe on various plastics, but I'm not going to find out myself.
@AlanTuringWannabe27 күн бұрын
Not to be a turd in the punch bowl, but why? You can pick up a good rolling pin for rather cheaply. I'd be get concerned about bacterial build up. It might be better to turn the pin part out of a hardwood.
@mpdavis73127 күн бұрын
How would you deal with the bacteria that could be left in the layer lines after cleaning? Maybe ASA with acetone smoothing or a UV resin coating would be safer? Not looked that far into it.

All the possibilities to play around with are so overwhelming, but if you harness them right, such beautiful things will come out of it! Endless possibilities for expression, thank you so much for explaining mixing concepts!

This is great, but one caveat: In the comments section, you can have a long and descriptive section, but that's only applicable if the end user is viewing the comments field in DISCO. Once they download the track, if they load it into, say, their iTunes app, there's a 250 character limit. Anything over that limit will be cutoff. As long as the downloaded track isn't put into an external app (such as iTunes), it will retain the metadata insofar that track could be uploaded into DISCO again and all the info in the comments section would still be there.

So what is this formula? Well, he believes that it's all about telling a story without the lyrics, telling the story. He calls it lyric-less storytelling, basically. And it's conveying story and feeling through the production, the arrangement, the elements of the song, the voices, the frequencies used, the mix. It's all conveying a story to you that is moving in such a way that grabs you and pulls you in. And it's addictive to listen to it's addictive to keep listening to, and that you don't turn it off. He breaks it into two areas. He calls it instead of tension and release. He breaks it into tension and gratification. So gratification, just like if you were a heroin addict and gratification is when you get that shot, right? That needle, I've never been a heroin addict. Don't don't write me any emails about this. But, it's, the gratification is getting that drug, that dose of that dopamine hit of whatever's going on and you're getting gratified, but the tension keeps you wanting more. It keeps you coming back for more. Is that true for album 💿 sequencing and song structure too?

Think of an album like a movie or a book. Directors and writers order their scenes and chapters in a very specific way to illuminate narrative and thematic content, and in any good film or piece of literature, each section builds off the others so that there’s a satisfying conclusion. But at the same time, it’s not something that calls attention to itself, since each part works together organically to make this seamless whole.
@Songwritersbehindthecurtain Жыл бұрын
Can tracks can also can be called chapters like track 1 aka chapter 1?

is this formula well he believes that it's all about telling a story without the lyrics telling the story he calls it lyric list storytelling basically and it's conveying story and feeling through the production the arrangement the elements of the song the voices the frequencies used the mix is all conveying a story to. Agreed 👍. Does that mean every studio album 💿 tell a story? And Does bridge,breakdown,break,interlude,post chorus,pre chorus,b section all of those song structure all serve the main story? Example Monster by r.e.m is about 6 or more songs and 7 or more songs and more than 30 minutes which is roughly about @. Who is responsible for the total amount of duration of the whole entire studio album 💿 from track 1 to track 12 aka what’s the frequency Kenneth which is track 1 to you which is the closing track track which is track 12? And is it a studio album 💿if it pass 30 minutes like @ or @ and more than 6 or 7 tracks like example tongue is on track 7 while track 8 is bang and blame?
