Only one 12” Lathe comes out every year or so. They are so valuable that we have received many back orders and expect them to be very expensive.

I keep hearing a squeak every once in awhile. High pitch whistle? From the needle on the record when cutting. What can i do?

Sorry for the delay in responding. Reduce needle pressure, warm the blank, apply wax to the blank. I think it will disappear with any of the following.

Thanks for the answer. I thought it was PVC. Black PETG is much harder to find on sale, and colored ones too. We only sell transparent and white PETG. I liked the white PETG the most, it’s even better than the black PVC that I have.

what if the audio is processed ( RIAA EQing) may fix the audio muffled with the diamond stylus and heating tool?

Are you saying that the sound is more muffled when you use it than when you don't? If so, are you applying too much temperature?

I know how to avoid those sort of problems with less headache, use a digital recorder and playback like CD that came out 40 something years ago 😉

I do not think there is any effect of stylus differences because the differences in sound sources are reflected in the stylus.
