What if u swallow only 1 or 3 strands of cat hair im curious
@catworldacademy21 күн бұрын
Swallowing one or a few strands of cat hair is generally harmless. Your body is well-equipped to deal with tiny, non-toxic foreign particles like this. Typically, if you accidentally ingest a small amount of cat hair, it will either pass through your digestive system without issue or get dissolved by stomach acids. However, if larger quantities of hair are ingested over time (like with fur-licking pets), it could potentially accumulate, forming a "hairball" (trichobezoar) that could cause digestive discomfort. But this would be highly unlikely from just a strand or two. If you accidentally swallow some hair, there's no need to worry-your body should handle it without trouble!

@catworldacademy2 ай бұрын
You're absolutely right! Getting cats and dogs vaccinated against rabies is crucial in preventing the spread of the disease. Quarantining kittens and puppies until they've been vaccinated, and for 30 days after, is a responsible step to ensure they don't contract or spread rabies. It's important for pet owners to follow these guidelines for the safety of their animals and the community.

what if i say my cat is natural aggressive should i expect it to be clingy to me
@catworldacademy2 ай бұрын
It's possible for a naturally aggressive cat to still be clingy to its owner. Some cats display aggression due to fear or anxiety, but they may still seek comfort and affection from the person they trust the most. The key is understanding the cat's behavior and finding ways to create a safe and comfortable environment for it.

@catworldacademy My eldest sister was suddenly attacked by her outdoor domestic cat seemingly at random. He yowled at her and bit and scratched her ankle. She has sustained two scratches. For months she's been seeing an increase in his nervousness as well, he didn't used to be so afraid of things. What should she do? Should she get the vaccines straight away? Does her cat have rabies? Will she get it too? Very informative video, thank you ❤😊

"I'm so sorry to hear about your sister's unfortunate incident. It's always concerning when a pet attacks a family member, especially without a clear provocation. While it's difficult to pinpoint the exact reason for your cat's sudden aggression, there could be several factors at play. Stress, anxiety, or underlying health issues could be contributing to his behavior. Regarding rabies, it's important to consult with a veterinarian as soon as possible. They can assess the situation, examine your cat for any signs of rabies, and determine if your sister needs to seek medical attention. Even if your cat is vaccinated, it's still a good precaution to consult with a professional. They can provide guidance on next steps, including potential behavioral training or veterinary care for your cat. I hope your sister recovers quickly from her injuries. It might be helpful to consider consulting with a veterinary behaviorist to understand your cat's behavior better and explore potential solutions.

Do they get these signs after they have bitten or scratched someone or is it before they have bitten or scratched someone?
@catworldacademy2 ай бұрын
The video doesn't provide a definitive answer to this question. It mentions that the risk of rabies is low if the cat is healthy, known, and can be observed for 10 days. However, it's important to note that even a healthy cat can transmit rabies if it has been infected. If you're bitten or scratched by a cat, it's crucial to seek medical attention immediately, even if the cat appears healthy. A doctor can assess the risk of rabies and recommend appropriate treatment, which may include rabies vaccination.

You do a video of rabies yet you have zero video a rabid cat. Not even a photo. Are you serious?
@catworldacademy2 ай бұрын
Thank you for your feedback! I appreciate you taking the time to watch my video and share your thoughts. I understand your concern about the lack of a video of a rabid cat. While it would be informative to visually demonstrate the effects of rabies, there are several reasons why I chose not to include such content: Animal welfare: Showing a rabid animal could potentially cause distress to viewers and might even contribute to negative stereotypes about certain animals. Accuracy: It's important to ensure that any visual content is accurate and doesn't perpetuate misinformation. Finding a video of a definitively rabid animal that meets these standards can be challenging. Focus on prevention: The primary goal of my video was to educate viewers about rabies prevention, including vaccination and avoiding contact with wild animals. By focusing on these key points, I believe I was able to provide the most valuable information. I hope this explanation clarifies my decision. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

I'm so glad you discovered that your babies need rabies shots. It's crucial to protect them from this serious disease, especially if you live in an area with wildlife like raccoons. Rabies is a fatal disease, but it's completely preventable through vaccination. Make sure to schedule appointments with your veterinarian to get your babies vaccinated as soon as possible. While rabies can be scary, it's important to remember that with proper vaccination, your pets will be safe. I wish you and your furry friends all the best!

Sorry for the delayed response! I know this must have been a scary situation. While it's natural to be worried about rabies after any contact with an animal, especially a stray, the likelihood of contracting rabies from a simple touch is quite small. Rabies is usually transmitted through bites or scratches that break the skin. If you're still feeling anxious, I'd suggest talking to a doctor. They can give you the most accurate information based on your specific situation and offer any necessary advice.

Will it cause any harm to the body?
@catworldacademy7 ай бұрын
Cat hair itself is not inherently harmful to the body, but there are a few considerations to keep in mind: 1. **Allergies:** Some people are allergic to cat dander, which is a combination of skin flakes and proteins found in cat saliva, urine, and feces, as well as on their hair. Exposure to cat dander can trigger allergic reactions in susceptible individuals, including sneezing, itching, watery eyes, and respiratory issues. In severe cases, it can exacerbate conditions like asthma. However, it's important to note that not everyone is allergic to cat dander, and reactions vary in severity. 2. **Hygiene:** Cat hair can carry allergens, dust, and other particles that may accumulate in the home environment. Regular grooming of your cat, along with vacuuming and cleaning your living space, can help minimize the presence of these allergens and promote better indoor air quality. 3. **Ingestion:** Ingesting large quantities of cat hair, such as through excessive grooming or licking, can potentially lead to gastrointestinal issues like hairballs or blockages. While it's normal for cats to groom themselves and ingest some hair, excessive hair ingestion can pose a risk, especially for long-haired breeds. Regular grooming by the owner and providing appropriate dietary supplements or specialized foods can help mitigate this risk. 4. **Zoonotic Diseases:** While uncommon, certain zoonotic diseases can be transmitted through contact with cat hair or dander. Examples include ringworm and cat scratch fever. Practicing good hygiene, such as washing hands after handling cats or cleaning litter boxes, can reduce the risk of transmission. In summary, cat hair itself is not harmful to most people, but it can pose risks for individuals with allergies or compromised immune systems. Maintaining proper hygiene, grooming your cat regularly, and taking precautions can help mitigate these risks and ensure a healthy coexistence with your feline friend.

Why do cats have fur between their toes?
@catworldacademy7 ай бұрын
The fur between a cat's toes serves several important purposes. Firstly, it acts as insulation, helping to regulate the cat's body temperature. Cats are known for their ability to adapt to various climates, and the fur between their toes helps them stay comfortable in both cold and hot conditions. Secondly, the fur provides traction and helps improve the cat's grip when walking or running on different surfaces. This is particularly beneficial for cats who may need to navigate rough terrain or climb trees in the wild. The additional grip provided by the fur between their toes gives them better stability and control over their movements. Furthermore, the fur between a cat's toes helps to protect their delicate paw pads from injury. Cats rely heavily on their paws for activities such as hunting, climbing, and exploring their environment. The fur acts as a barrier, shielding their paw pads from sharp objects, rough surfaces, and extreme temperatures. In addition to these functional benefits, the fur between a cat's toes also plays a role in grooming. Cats are meticulous groomers, and they use their tongues and paws to remove dirt, debris, and loose fur from their coats. The fur between their toes helps to trap particles and prevent them from sticking to the rest of their fur, making grooming more efficient and effective. Overall, the fur between a cat's toes serves multiple purposes, including insulation, traction, protection, and grooming. It's a fascinating adaptation that highlights the remarkable evolution of these agile and adaptable creatures.

This is the first day in a week I’ve had time to sit and watch some videos👍 After Bobo had his 💩in butt-fur tragedy,he tried to clean himself and accidentally had to swallow a good amount of 💩,so now he has diahrrea and has had it for a few days,and I have to trick him into eating some horrible smelling thick paste that he hates(and I most definitely hate it too!)but the only thing to do sometimes is to be inventive if you like me do not want to hold your friend down and force this thing into his mouth(I just can’t do it when I know how he will crawl away with his tail curled up under him and feel like the only human he trust has let him down and hurt him.There is just no way🤷🏻♀️)But we get it done,he eat most of it and it has helped a little bit till now,we’re still in a ‘shitty periode’ but I hope he’ll be back to normal soon(yesterday he felt a little better🥰)I make sure he drinks water and he has his own cup of water on the table so when I have some of my water I offer some to him from his cup too and he will usually drink a little bit extra when I do it like this👍😊 When your bestest friend feels bad and is sick,you’ll do what you can to help,even staying up with him when he can’t sleep(or sit with him and stay awake so he feels safe and like it is okay to sleep just a little bit because you’ll watch over him)and give him water from a little cup or glass.You do anything for someone you love❤️🐈⬛❤️

Good video,good info👍 I don’t think I would recommend a persian cat as a first cat for someone,it can be difficult to notice the health issues some of them can get because of the ‘flat face’,long thick fur and other things,and what is normal and what is not normal for them. It could be challenging for someone completely new to cats and cat health and behaviour and so on. For a first time cat owner who are new to cats,a regular housecat with short fur would be the best option the way I see it and from personal experience😊 But the persian cat definitely are beautiful😻
@catworldacademy7 ай бұрын
You make a valid point about Persian cats. While they are undeniably beautiful, their unique characteristics, such as their flat faces and long fur, can indeed present health challenges that might be difficult for first-time cat owners to manage. Opting for a cat with shorter fur and fewer breed-specific health concerns might be a more practical choice for beginners. It's essential for prospective cat owners to research and consider these factors carefully before choosing a pet. Thanks for sharing your perspective!
