This is beautiful! I think grey and cannot wait to see it. However, I am intrigued by evelynalbers8878 suggestion to alternate bands of grey and random colors.

If you go with the grey, you get stripes. If you go multi, you get plaid. The grey is gonna dull those lovely colors, while the multi would allow even more colors as the blends add to a complicated harmony. I’m thinking. I’m thinking. I would love to see all those colors. The suggestion I saw here about switching back and forth is interesting (for those of us who are undecided). Or start and finish with the multi while the main body is the grey. What are you intending to use this for? A tablecloth? Sorry, I’m no help. :/

Are your other colors different or same? Same would make it sort of plaid which would detract I think. If truly random it would make it really wild which would be great for casual. Solid grey would be more dressy I think. What is it for?

Can’t comment on your short, so I’ll do it here, Solid grey weft, on the multicolored warp. (Perhaps a few strips of bright color every 2-4 inches)
