Sorry for the delay in my reply. I actually stopped using Rush years ago and fully switched to Premiere Pro only. So I can't answer your question since it's been too long since I used Rush.

No such thing as a corner. It converts it to a rounded corner instead and no longer has path handles.

thanks! It's actually prounced like the metal, "lead" (as in a lead pencil") because printers used to insert strips of lead between the letters. :)

Your video is very helpful. Thank you. But I feel compelled to make one note. The word "leading" is not pronounced "leeding" as it is derived from manual type set days when the type setter would use strips of lead in order to space out lines of text evenly.

Thank you very much for this. However, I'm trying to change the color of the layer text so that it will export the layer names in the layer colors to a pdf so that people can choose the layer they wish to view by color and name. Is this at all possible?

Absolutely amazing that you can't assign a shortcut to collect in new layer. The devs should all be fired and this program should be left to die. Or maybe the program should be fired and the Devs left to die, I dunno. Either sounds good to me.

Does tracking work when you convert the text to an object? Every video I've seen on this leaves the text unchanged.

No. Once you convert the text it's not editable that way. You'd have to un-group the letters and use the direct selection tool to select each letter individually and move it.

Nice! Super to the point! I used this to batch change layer colors for an Illustrator file I was arranging for export to animate in After Effects. I wanted all the background items to be blue, but on their own layers, and then a color per individual person in the shot as well. Thanks!

Go to the bottom of your tool bar and click the three little dots. You can add any missing tools there.
