I agree with you! For those who are fortunate enough to stay at hotels such as this one, it's the normal way of life for them. Nothing special. They just pull out their AMEX Titanium card and pay for a $30k, $40k or $XXk vacation 2 or 3 times a year. They fly first class all the way; in some cases, even by private jet. And some people even airfreight their own Lambo, Ferrari, Rolls Royce, etc to their destination so a rental car is not a problem. Again, for some people, this way of life is normal. They don't see a 3-week trip to Europe (for example) as a once-in-a-lifetime trip that is reality for so many others. Peace.

I've stayed at most of them, and it ultimately comes down to personal taste, as each has its own small advantages and drawbacks. Some of my favorite palaces include Crillon, Plaza Athénée, Ritz, Le Meurice, and La Réserve. For modern hotels, I like Bvlgari and Cheval Blanc, although I'm not particularly fond of the location.

@ Asian hotels are generally newer, bigger and cheaper hahahaha, Park Hyatt and Ritz Carlton really done a great job in Asia, and I know they aren’t playing very good in Europe

Thank you for your feedback! Room size is certainly a key factor in creating a luxurious experience, but not the only one. Principe di Savoia offers more spacious room options, and in terms of size, most hotels in Europe start at around 25 sqm.

The hotel is currently undergoing refurbishment. The communal areas have been completed, and all rooms are scheduled to be updated by the end of next year. I stayed in a beautifully refurbished suite at the beginning of this year and loved it!
