I wouldn't say there's much influence overall but this track just screams Earthbound. I can only assume it's the final boss theme.

man this track is art. if anyone here had played pathologic or pathologic 2 its a very strange game like this but more focused on survival, very strange concepts of reality thats whimsical eerie and depressing , anyways. This track hits exactly like a moment in that game where you talk to a dying kid whos in charge of taking care of all the kids in the town and a track called childhood grave plays and its a moment where the game goes from "wow cool game" to suddenly you're experiencing every emotion known to man and it all hits you that this is a genuinely amazing game. Never thought id experience a similar enigmatic emotion like that until this track hit

I always found this area to be the most interesting, everyone's speaking in Morse code and if translated reveals some unsettling things. I wish the game had more areas like this.
