I just came across your video as colourwork was doing my head in. I knit continental style normally, but two handed with colourwork, so one thread in my right, one thread in my left. This method works SO well with that. I'm at a segment where I'd have floats for 9 stitches, now I don't have any. Thank you so much for sharing this!

I just stumbled across your channel last night and have been met with a bunch of synchronicities (watching your videos). That we both paint and knit, and the Crispin thing (which isn't a big deal, but here in the US no one knows who that is), then your brother - although I do both, my sister is the"crocheter" and I'm the "knitter", and then the mention of Stomp. My son and I are going to see them tomorrow (here in North Carolina). Don't know what all that means - but I'm taking it as good sign. 🧐🤗💙

Amazing technique. So in the round you are adding a new piece of blue (for example ) every couple of rows? You add and knit with one half of the added yarn then use the second half the next time round? Id worry about the ends, but you don’t weave the ends in either ….

What do I like…your choice of colours……the books you recommend, I’ve actually got a few of them and love them …….you seem to knit using the English method rather than the continental which I’ve tried but never feels satisfying . And as a competent knitter I feel watching I’m going to learn and be inspired. And I absolutely love Fair Isle.
