This generation is crying out for happy songs, I wish they could all know how the 80's and 90's felt. Life was so much better.

Watching these old 90s Canadian music videos is so satisfying. Crazy to think that when this came out Nunavut wasn’t even a thing yet.

The only thing offensive is this band making money. Thank the can con gods cause the US wouldn’t put up with this kind of mediocrity.

Of course out of the 5 KITH boys they had Dave play the girl lol. He was the prettiest girl out of the group and even has stories of some of the crew liking when he played the female characters on the show as well as strangers hitting on him when he’d be playing a female character and they’d be filming in public. Great song and I adore KIDS IN THE HALL!

There's a quality of sound that's very reminiscent of the Beatles. Very burbly tube amps, smooth vocal harmonies. And so the video chase scenes, a bunch of boys running around, it's all in keeping. Drummer Pat Steward was my neighbor across the courtyard for some years back in the 1990s. That's just to say, hey, this is Canada. Everybody was someone's neighbor across the courtyard, at some point.

As a Canadian I may be biased, but the depth of talent on the roster of 90s Canadian rock bands was truly amazing

Nope not biased. Deep and wonderful is our Canadian musical heritage. Dig deep present and past.

As a Kansas-American, I don't find it biased at all. Canadian alt-rock was great in the 80s and 90s.

This song is satire but it also came out before the woke trans cult takeover so it’s out of context in 2024. At the time it was not controversial at all, and regular guys, who were the fan base might have even dressed in drag for a Halloween party before trans became a thing. It’s a fun song.
