Well, I love and adore Cornel Wilde and I have a group for him on Facebook. He was so gorgeous and such a great actor! And I also love and adore Gene Tierney and she was also so gorgeous and a great actor. This script is very excellent and LEAVE HER TO HEAVEN is one of the best films ever made. Jeanne Crain is excellent, too , and very beautiful and a terrific actor as well. All the supporting actors were just superb. I love this scene especially on the train!!!!

Her first husband (famous designer) Oleg Cassini, said she was even MORE beautiful in real life . The story of her contracting Rubella while pregnant from an irresponsible fan, and years later being told by the same fan that she had broken quarantine for measles, just so she could meet her favourite movie star, (which caused the severe retardation of her daughter) is heartbreaking, no wonder she had a complete breakdown. Elizabeth Taylor played the plot in “The Mirror Crack’ed”.

Beautiful scene, except there are a few changes that would be required to make it more fitting for today's audience. Cornell is going to have to dump the suit and tie for a t-shirt and shorts and sneakers. Tatoos are a must. Let the hair grow long and of course hip men paint their nails today. Gene Tierney needs to put on some pants with holes in it. Dresses are such a legacy of our patriarchal past... And maybe add some combat boots. Got to replace the book and magazine with cell phones. And of course the dialogue needs to be changed. No one talks in complete sentences any more. We are way more expressive today. You need not exaggerate it, but how can any one carry on a conversation without using the f-word at least 2 or 3 times. Otherwise, it's a good scene.
