Its basically a lite lager flavor with a fewer cal. But like not that much less so really I enjoy standard ones.

We drank American beer since we were 8 at family parties and the weekend as a treat. Shandys when we were younger with McEwan's export. This is just a novelty and I have never seen it on themselves in Scotland, no whisky shop would entertain this. Good for a laugh though

This was great..I notice even short term “aging”in a fridge induces some evolution in the flavor of beer…having a Sam Smith organic pale ale..usually more floral/hoppy…but with a little time the malts dominate…glad to learn I’m ok to be enjoying it still…thanks😅🍻

I like Space Dust a lot myself. Juice Dust? I like it! Mine has 20 Aug 24 as the date on the bottom, which means I caught this towards the end of its "ideal" best by date. It's still good and flavorful, I still get some slight hop bitterness so it doesn't taste like I'm drinking a sugary fruit drink akin to the Voodoo Ranger series. What you said about this being Space Dust with orange extract is spot on 😁

Just purchased a Squarekeg for about $180 total shipped. Even at $225-250 its better aesthetically than the contraption you have created. Sure they do the same thing but visually yours is a nightmare and seems cumbersome to move around. The appeal, to me at least, is the design and portability without showing up to a party or day on the boat with a weird science project. I know yours is made for the budget minded "this is basically the same thing but cheaper" crowd but not everyone is worried about saving a few bucks to save a few bucks.

Put the Squarekeg in the center of a table, and put mine next to it, now try pouring yourself a drink. You also must have got it on sale because even now I'm seeing on Amazon and their website its $240. What I built can look different too, its all about how much you are willing to spend, you can have mine not be as tall just by buying a different adapter. and its still over half the cost. Cant pick up the Squarekeg without buying their holder, you can pick up mine. Sounds like you are more concerned about what people think of you and your item then what the product actually does.

In the end, yes, they may do the exact same things but visuals are more important to me than functionality in this case. I dont want a erector set of parts when i can have a premade pretty piece of machinery over something that was hacksawed together. You wouldnt paint your house red just because red paint was cheaper if you really wanted blue. Everyone is different but i dont want to be "That guy" who brought his science experiment to a party. Sorry. And yes. They had a great "Prime day" sale on their website. I agree the original price point is to much, but for $178 shipped, its fair to me

I'm with you. It's also made in the US and not some nickle/chrome leaching disaster that is not pressure tested. Now, a 2.5G AEG keg on the other hand with a perlick tap and adapter is another story. Much more worth the time to piece it together yourself, but costs more than the squareone

I had a freind, Joe Fritz, who lived to be 103. When he was at the age of 95, I asked him about what he thought was the key to his longevity. He looked me in the eye and said to quote: "4 beers in the morning, 4 beers in the afternoon, and 4 beers at night... But, I can't do the night beers because [since I turned 90], I have to get up to pee to often." And that's a true story. I wish I could attach a picture of us enjoying a beer at 10:00a.m. at the Catholic Men's Fraternal Club in St. Marys, PA. On another level, I practice the carnivore diet and drink about 12 beers a day as per the directions of the aforementioned, Joe F.
