I watch a lot of Isle of Man vids. Some of them even go off the edge margin of the track and still race on with no big deal.

Racers used to be able to scrape their knee pucks if they knew what they were doing. Nowadays they can drag their shoulder and I even saw one guy who could have practically scraped his helmet! Tires have advanced so much in that time span from the to now! It's just incredible.

Once you have tried to follow a pro racer on the racetrack it can be a bit of an ego adjustment! I speak from experience from about 30 years ago. Wow, that's all I could manage to utter was WOW!

What up Corey, I'm 6'5" and l love sport bikes. My first bike kawasaki ninja zx6r, I have been riding for 1yr 2 months, and I also did my first track day this year. You have any advices as new tall rider? I want and need to get better/great riding overall.

We’ve used both! I like the MotoD one because it comes out in one piece and doesn’t have so many parts laying around once you get to where you’ve got to go. Little more universal in my opinion and cheaper.

Is there a noticeable difference between these bikes in stock trim? I would imagine they would feel identical assuming suspension set up the same?

The RR to me feels a bit lighter because of the wheels but otherwise I think they’re pretty identical. We didn’t swap back and forth though.

Saw you in the AMA series, which classes will you be racing in this year ? The '21 rr is a proper homologation special, should help you at the sharp end when kitted out - good luck for 2021 👍

We will be going for the Stock 1000 championship as well as racing in SBK on the Stocker.

Corey, a couple weeks ago Kawasaki of Simi Valley had a 2021 ZX-10RR in the showroom, it was already sold and about to be shipped to a racer back east. What a trick motorbike!

It's still in standard trim with a MUCH larger muffler this year due to harsher noise restrictions. Like all new liter sportsbikes it's quite heavily restricted for noise and emissions, losing around 10% + in the topend.

650ib says the bike is limited to about 10.5 K rpm for power. You need a flash to unleash the rest of the power.

It’s just as limited as the previous generation or any other stock bike, it will gain from a full exhaust and tune for sure.

Similar but different in all the right ways. Little more refined finish feel. Bike turns sharper for sure. Throttle is definitely different since it’s full fly by wire now. More stable with the wings and longer swing arm. Dash is beautiful. Aero is helpful for a big guy like me
