In the haunting strains of dark academia tunes, there lies an inexplicable solace, a quiet refuge from the relentless storm of life. Each note seems to echo the depths of human emotion, reminding us that even in our most shadowed hours, there is a profound elegance in the struggle. It is a strange yet beautiful paradox-how something so melancholic can cradle the soul so gently, offering comfort in the rawness of our existence. In this music, we find not just sadness, but the intricate tapestry of life itself-fragile, imperfect, yet achingly beautiful.

I think the section "run with me" is my favorite, and since nobody no artist is attached to the title I am so curious where to find this song! Did you compose it yourself or is the artist unknown?

"I love this place, Torin." I promise, leading him towards the doorway. "I have so many friends there who talk to me." He narrows his eyes at me. They're sharp and blue, but behind his indignation they are blanketed in fondness. "I'm not enough for you?" I laugh. I don't like my laugh very much, too harsh and loud, especially in the silence. Torin joins in, his quiet peals only making me more self concious. The door opens with a creak, and the two of us step into the library together. It's a beautiful place, with dark, wooden shelves filled to the brim with yellowed books. "You study here?" His eyes narrow further, wrapping his jacket more tightly around himself. "It's cold!" I shoot him a reproving glance out of the corner of my eye, pressing a finger to my lips. "My friends like it better this way." I hear a giggle in the distance. High pitched. Grating. My smile widens. They always manage to make me feel better about my laugh. "I'm scared." Torin murmurs beside me. I smile so wide my face could split in half. "You should be. That's the fun of it."

From time to time i still come back to this playlist. When i need to study or when reading a classic novel. It was my first introduction to this whome dark academia world. I was in 37 at the time i had no clue. But i felt at home. Not as a student, no, i'm more the professor who is there for the students who have a hard time. I was/am Goth my whole life and in that way i felt that connection to the DA. I did go to parties and talked about poetry, old books, science. I learned how to play the piano as a teen because of that. I always was a dreamer. And now is the best part i found this playlist at night when i was up with my youngets who couldnt sleep. He was crying and i was just holding him and trying to get him to sleep. I saw the thumbnail and thought it was interesting the music supported my mood and calmed my son down and into sleep. I revisited this playlist since then.
