Qx50 was made with vq37 v6 until 2017. Similar to this car but with the 330hp v6, and 16/24 mpg. Pretty good compromise if you have a family but still want a g37x basically, with a hatchback

Same color inside and out as in this video. 2010 with 160k. Bought 5 years ago from local dealer, where it was originally sold and serviced. Thought of selling, but I will definitely keep based on what I am reading. I still love to drive it, just have other cars, and with the price of gas now, I drive the electric most.

What’s a better buy a 2010 Infiniti FX50S with 125,000 miles for $9,000 or a 2014 Dodge Charger R/T police package with 75,000 miles for $8,500 ?
@Automotiveaddicts
@Automotiveaddicts Жыл бұрын
Probably the Infiniti FX50S - provided that it has been cared for. It WILL outlast and be more reliable than the Dodge Charger R/T. Though, the parts for the FX50S may cost a bit more than parts for the Charger. Still, less issues with the Infiniti overall even with the mileage.
@elvin1677

@@Automotiveaddicts okay well I looked more into the Infiniti and found it it’s been in a front end collision. And the person that is selling bought it just to make profit of it he’s not the true owner, and he said “sometimes the wheel is hard to steer and shakes at 60 mph(alignment needed) so I’m just not sure because what if I get an alignment done to the car and it still shakes. That will mean it has a suspension problem, which is going to expensive since parts aren’t cheap and hard to find. What do you suggest?
@Automotiveaddicts
@Automotiveaddicts Жыл бұрын
@@elvin1677 Oh wow. Yeah, with a front-end collision there is no telling how bad it is. I would walk away from that one personally. You could be looking at more repair bills from that collision issue - if it was not fixed correctly or they used old replacement parts. Could be a huge can of worms.

@Automotiveaddicts
@Automotiveaddicts Жыл бұрын
For the year of the vehicle and considering its sporty attitude with the V8 and larger exhaust, it was never thought to be "loud" in the cabin. I think it was just right considering the larger 21-inch tires, exhaust, and V8 engine.

@@Automotiveaddicts for the age I agree, you can't compare 2009/10 standards with even say 2013....I clocked the 2010 FX35 at 85 db compared to just 68 in an MDX.

We got a '21. What the salesman neglected to tell us is the 4 banger requires 93 octane fuel. The 6 doesn't. You will actually spend more $ on fuel with the 4. The engine does have a six year warranty, which is the only reason I agreed to even entertain the thought of purchasing the 4 cylinder. Turbo lag is a bit of an issue, but the skilled driver can use technique to overcome this.

I picked up mine in April, 2022. you won't be disappointed if you know what you are buying. I think the handling is on the weaker side, but I bought it solely base on the styling and interior. I would also suggest adding all the tech packages such as navigation, etc. It's worth it! Overall, I love the look! no regret.

Good review. I have mine, a 2019 GTR, for two weeks now and I'm still reaching to the dahs for the volume control. :) I like the transmission, it shift gears really smooth, you barely feel when it's shifting. I'm coming from a 2013 Accord EXL, and although I loved my Accord, you could really feel the shifts. This is much smoother. All in all, I'm very happy with my purchase. Keep up the good, short, detailed reviews.

I’m surprised it has useless rear window wipers. I’d rip that partition out. Having to have the drivers door open to fuel is a pain if it’s raining, snowing and blowing. No duel doors like the Nissan NV200. The inside panels are a big plus to stop dents from the inside

Think about this...in 2011, the mustang finally came out with the 5L again. That mustang did a 0-60 in 4.6seconds...this Infinty from 2009, also weighing 1200lbs more, does it in 5 seconds flat. (Both numbers from Car and Driver). That's ridiculous. As for 1/4 mile times...the Stang is at 13.2, the FX50 is at 13.6. Same displacement and cylinders, 1200lbs heavier, and only 0.4sec slower in the 1/4

It's such a shame that Infiniti has lost its way. From early 2000s to mid 2010s, Infiniti was the Japanese luxury car brand to own hands down. Now they put the pathetic CVTs in there vehicles, every car/suv that was sold with the legendary VQ 3.5L V6 is now a 4 banger turbo. For anyone that owns a G35/37...FX35/37/50...hold on to them, they're just shooting up in value, and still look and perform fantastic to this day

Owned a 2005 G35x for many years, and now have a 2016 QX70, but that's the last vehicle they made that I'd consider buying. They WERE the best performing/handling Japanese brand, with some of the best V6 engines on the planet, but what they offer now isn't all that special, and can be found in any Japanese brand.

But on that point, Rogues are made in several countries, some in Japan, some in the US, Canada...and some in MEXICO....but all Infiniti FXs where built in Japan. Shame Infiniti now makes QXs in Mexico, and with CVTs
