+MrJoey65521 there are 5 gods and 5 gods period. M2k, Armada, Hbox, PPMD, and Mang0 are the gods and always will be the only ones, even after they retire/die. there is no such thing as a new god, replacement god, or a god who arrived late to the scene. you either show up and make yourself a god from the start, or you get viewed as a decent tournament player who came late to the scene. there would be 6 gods, but he didn't come in time.

+MrJoey65521 would rather word it a bit better and say that he didn't make himself unique, different, or better in another way that nobody else was in the time frame he could have done so to be a god. Mang0 is known for Fox (and being considered the GOAT too), Armada is known for Peach, PPMD for Falco, M2K for Marth, and Hbox for Puff. Leffen is just a other Fox main. if he had set himself away from the rest of players in a unique way before Mang0, then Mang0 would be the "other Fox main" and Leffen would be the god. either that or if leffen had jumped on the opportunity to stick out sooner with a different character, he could have been a Zelda god or whatever other character he wants to stick out with. Leffen is just another decent Fox main.

+MrJoey65521 He can beat anyone, but if he's not one of the original gods, he's not a god. he could be better than them all but I don't consider him a god because to me, he didn't stick out among the stars before the other five did. he might be as skilled as them, but he isn't one of them
