What brand/model is the battery in your little bag? I heard 501? But don’t know what that is.
@Rusted_Link11 күн бұрын
The link in the description is for a bioenno 3 amp hour. In the bag is a 6 amp hour of the same brand. I've tested the 6 ah with the display lit constantly and sending APRS every 5 minutes and it lasted 52 hours.i also made contacts just as I would in other day.

I discovered a minor issue with the DB25-D. If you set RX tones the radio will randomly stop TX audio for about 30 seconds to a minute. Radioddity is aware (at least they are now) and are working towards a firmware update.

How long did you cut the aluminum bar?
@Rusted_LinkАй бұрын
Well, it's 4.8" across the bottom. 4.5" up to each mounting hole plus an .5". That equals roughly 15". I cut the aluminum 16", marked center then made my bends assuming I'd lose a little. I put the strap in the vice 1/16 on the outside of the marks on the first bend, that wasn't enough so I adjusted. In the end I feel that bending 3/16 on the outside of the marks would do it. I only built one so at this point I'm unsure. You let me know if that works.
