I wanted to become a doctor so I did my education for med school but in 1975 instead of going to med school I went to university to do computer sciences, got my degree and started working. But in 2002 I decided to do my early childhood education and graduated to become a teacher, worked for 18 years and finally retired as a teacher. Always remember there’s no end to learning….getting education whether in acting or teaching….choice is yours. Follow your dreams. Always stay strong and keep smiling. All my prayers and best wishes to you for a happy and healthy life. We are so blessed to have Sick Kids who are there to help children. God bless you Leigha❤

Hi Leigha, it was wonderful watching you do what you love. I use to do community theatre when I was in my teens and loved it. I also loved to sing and had a pretty good voice. I ended up in the retail fashion industry for awhile but eventually owned my own company which was in the wholesale end of the industry. I moved to Mexico 16 years ago in a little town which I love. I drove down with my little shitzu who I adopted sje was 2 years old. I have rescued 8 other dogs since I have been here and have 3 that are still with me. I am an animal lover. I wish you a successful career in your chosen profession also stay healthy, positive and happy.❤ Jackie🎉

What an incredible story Leigha . I’m so proud to be a monthly donor , and also a grand donor. I lost my son 26 years ago , and promised that his name would never be forgotten. The 3rd floor of the NICU , has my sons name Ottavio in many areas , and also on the nursing station . Your message of hope is so powerful . I was just diagnosed with prostate cancer at age of 52 , now the waiting is the hard part . You truly made my day . The smile on your face , is priceless.
