Nice! Been wondering about personalized products on Etsy, always been curious how that worked.

We put it off way too long. In the end it was fairly simple. Just have to be willing to do a few extra steps. But the Canva folders and the DIDs make it much easier.

@ I have been doing custom Ts etc and help people prototype their designs as well as starting my own range now. Unfortunately I had to close everything down after a bad accident and am busy restarting again. I also do SFX body art and prank items as well as sculpture and sugar sculpture etc. I like creating insects a lot.

@ Yep. That’s the curse and blessing with creatives. I am busy picking up the pieces and as you know things take time to build. I cannot deal with all of it at once of course so just doing the clothing side right now though my soul is crying to do the other stuff. It’s a difficult choice.

Thank you. Do you have any idea why Printful t shirt sizes are stated as US Letter and not clothing sizes when sent to my Etsy shop. How can I change that.
@PrintOnDemandCast6 күн бұрын
Seems that's not just a Printful thing, but an Etsy thing. It's still showing small, medium, large, etc, right? If for some reason it's not, you can delete those variations inside your Etsy listing, but make sure to link up the correct SKUs with the correct sizes so the SKU is the same for the medium red on Etsy and Printify.

Printing United is so awesome - sadly I didn't make it this year. Interested to hear the feedback from this years show. I regret not making it out there. If you can let us know when that POD podcast will air, that would be great. Thank you.

I talk about it a little bit on the show releasing tomorrow (sep 18). However, I did an interview while there that will release in a few weeks that's REALLY good IMO. Audio only, but lots of interesting "state of the industry" type things.
Thanks. I know this was posted a while ago but it's still helpful. Been racking my brain trying to find the right solution for this conversion before paying a subscription somewhere. Have you found anything better or is CF still the best choice?

To be honest, I haven't really looked at other tools since I created that video. With all the AI tools coming out seemingly every other day, I'd imagine that there are better ones and/or that Kittl has gotten better than when I recorded this video. I'll keep an eye out and let you know if I find anything. Do the same for me! 🤜🤛

@@PrintOnDemandCast what is we are just seeing this now? :(
So is there a way to give them access to our Etsy account? Or do they have to have our pass, isn’t this not safe!?
@PrintOnDemandCast3 ай бұрын
Great question! I use LastPass which allows me to share access without sharing my password. And if they quit or I need to let them go, I can remove their access from all the shares I've assigned to them. Works perfectly for VA's!

In the Philippines, if you're paying by the projects completed, as compared to hourly, would you add up the dollar amounts for twelve months, then divide by 12, and then would that be an appropriate amount to pay for the "13-month" bonus?
@PrintOnDemandCast3 ай бұрын
Great question! For project based contracts, I typically don't pay for the 13th month because I usually only hire them for one task. However, if I hired a VA for multiple project based tasks, I'd do as you've outlined. But I'd also consider hiring them for a specific number of hours per week at that point which would make the computation for the 13th month much easier.
@jayedwin980204 ай бұрын
Wouldn't it be best to hire a VA for the specific projects completed? If the quoted project price works for you, then there's no hassle with regards to tracking the VA hours used. Also, here's a book I've been reading on this subject: "VIRTUAL FREEDOM", by: Chris Ducker, and it's published by: BenBella Books, Dallas, TX. Maybe you or some of your listeners will also find this book of interest. .
@PrintOnDemandCast3 ай бұрын
I agree for most one-off tasks, it's easier to just pay per project (or design, or whatever.) However, I have 2 full time VA's that are payed per hour. They are MUCH more integrated into my business and have multiple tasks they complete daily/weekly/monthly, but I can also give them new things and not have the hassle of negotiating a price for every task.
@jayedwin980204 ай бұрын
Having ownership of "design files" spelled out in a written document is fine, but how enforceable is this document? Especially, if a VA is in another country!
@PrintOnDemandCast3 ай бұрын
I agree it's not likely enforceable. However, it's better than nothing. I'm not sure what a viable option would be aside from pay much, much more from a US based contractor. I've also found that most of the VA's I've hired from other countries are more concerned about keeping their job than exploiting us.

@ Travis I can relate to the back problems man. Yoga once a week made a big difference for me. I also do 15 minutes of stretches every morning. But yoga is where I met my wife, I wouldn't have been there without my back problems, so I guess it wasn't all bad 😂
@PrintOnDemandCast3 ай бұрын
Yeah, I know part of it is getting some strength back. Going to PT and have lost like 15lbs so I know that'll help, too. My wife does yoga but I've just had a hard time embracing it. lol Maybe time for a change!

That's a great question! I think Amazon has a different way of choosing which results for which search terms, but obv it will still be based on keywords. I'm just not certain of the formatting. That said, I'd certainly attempt to get as many "buyer intent" keywords into my title and descriptions!

Well, there is Terapeak (which ebay provides for free) but honestly I haven't used it for this test. I simply chose 10k products that I've listed on other channels, starting with items that have sold elsewhere.
