the Italian and moors dialogue really stuck with me as a kid. even to this day I have a tough time following movies, but for some reason, that scene I understood, even though I was so young I didn't even know some of those words or what sex was. that scene taught me the definition of those words because it was so realistic, It was just like me and my friends talked and acted around each other with no adults around, but much cooler. it was everything we wanted to be. and don't get hung up on the race stuff. that was just normal back then. no one batted an eye about it.

As someone who has actually watched the film by viewing the Second Act first as Tarantino intended and THEN going back to the beginning after the opening credits up to the moment they find out they have stolen Coke, before cutting back to the James Gandolfini scene, I can confirm that the Non-Linear version is surprisingly A *LOT* BETTER!

hey, I'm creating an educational video on Soviet Montage. was wondering how might I find this documentary. I've searched all over the web and haven't any luck.

QT basically admits that Tony Scott was the right man to make this film. The end result is amazing. Non-linear time and killing the lead would have sucked. It worked for Pulp Fiction and Dogs beautifully but this film was different.

I just watched this yesterday and thought the Zimmer score was terrible. It was ridiculously loud, especially during Alabama's scene where she comes clean. The score just felt at odds w/ the tone of the film. Such a strange film that feels more like a QT-inspired student film that just happens to have a crazy stuffed cast.

I read the script somewhere in the internet many years ago. Indeed the timeline was odd, and the scenes were longer, more detailed. Alabama explained her name. Her mom was about to give birth to her, her dad was freaking out trying to get his wife to the hospital, a truck passed and the trucker carried them. The dad was so thankful that thought of giving the trucker's name to the baby; the guy's name was Waldo. No way, even if the baby had been a boy. So, the dad asked the trucker where he was from. Alabama.

We all know Samuel L Jackson is a badass... But this guy was first 😂

I love how later he tells Bill Paxton there's no room for show boats or heros after fighting the colombians like a mad man advancing into a building against orders. He's a good cop though.

This changes everything. I thought it was perfect. Then you hear this. It's better than perfect in it's original form. Mind hole blown.

They did a better job with the thermal camera,compared to the first movie.

Had I enough time, I would expouse how much Anderson was playing warhammer at the time. No, we don't know how much flesh torture is out there in Andersons mind. But I think we all deserve a sequel or an efficient and faithful remake.

He went from being one of the best stand-out action directors of the 1990s to being one of the worst filmmakers working today. Yet he's such a great guy to listen to in interviews.
