The new Subaru outback with the turbo 4cyl engine is specified by Subaru as having a 2400kg tow capacity with a hitch limit of 240kg. In reality its GVM is 2200kg so giving yourself a bit of safety factor, probably between 1800kg and 1900kg would be the reasonable limits. Any more and you are at risk of the tail wagging the dog.

This doesn't sound like it needs new bearings its normal for these motors to run hot just make sure when you move from carpet to rug that the height adjustment isn't too low or it will put extra strain on the belt and burn through it. These are also still being made under the sanitaire name not sure if you've heard of sanitaire before but they're basically just this style of eureka with a longer thicker cord ranging from 30 to 50 feet depending on the model.

Nice Eureka looks like its from the early 80s if it's going through belts easily check the belt pulley and make sure its smooth and doesn't have any rust, corrosion or debris you might also consider getting a new one you can also check the brushroll and make sure the groove where the belt goes on doesn't have anything wrapped around it.

I used to tow our 5000lbs travel trailer with our V6 Toyota with no problems. It actually towed better than our Tacoma truck.

Dudes act like you need a Duramax to pull a 15’ trailer. In the 80s and 90s everyone pulled trailers with their station wagons. You’d never see a pickup at a campground. A trailer like this weighs around 2k lbs heavy, max up to 3500. The Outback is rated for 3500-4500 depending on model.

I just bought a George watch at Walmart. Not the exact same model as yours but very similar. I'm glad the George logo isn't anywhere on their watches. I know George doesn't actually make their watches, but you would think they would have their name on it somewhere. Anyway, decent watch at a great price.

I fixed my Hoover WindTunnel switch with some CRC 2-26 electrical lubricant spray. The switch had almost completely locked up. Unplug the vacuum, apply the spray directly to the red power switch, allow the lubricant to penetrate, flick switch on and off, then wait 6 hours before energizing the Hoover. Reassemble the handle, and enjoy another 10 years of vacuuming bliss.

I towed 2900lbs trailer with my 2002 2.5 4eat outback (European model) for over 500 miles trips a few times already and so far it hasn’t broke or overheated. On steep roads i drive it in 1st gear at 5000 rpm. And for those who are concerned, this models max load is almost 4500lbs according to specification and can tow 4000lbs.

You kind of sound like Chris from Family Guy.
