This was such a good cover! I really, really like your translations. It's interesting that you say you don't resonate as much with Oktavia's cover as over time I find it harder to myself. I think it's an amazing cover, and I really appreciate the words she put to the song, but your interpretation brings out all the feelings I felt when I listened to hers for the first time.

Thank you so much for the comment! I think that, like everything else in the world, our experiences will influence how we interpret/resonate with a song. So, no worries! I think both of our lyrics are valid in their own ways. (Even Kanzaki Iori himself revisits this song differently years later. It's like "The Little Prince": its meaning will change every time it's revisited throughout life.)

Your voice is hurtful beautiful, yet represent persistent striving for the light. God bless you, that sun shining place is rather close to our heart & lips accept the sacrifice of son of God. Never give up even if you dont like soul /afterlife talk, your body was born from sacrifice of mother's nutrients&flesh Body wills to live,feels pain or lonely or whatever to signal that living will to see the light. For me, the way the font moves made it kind of hard to track the words as they were spoken, so I decided to transcribe the lyrics for anyone else. Also for easy singing lmao [ _HATED BY LIFE ITSELF_ ] " 'I just want to die', don't you think of it." "You only have one life, don't go wasting it." These words in a song, as I'm listening, What a foolish way to sing.. Truth is, if I am to die, it's no issue, yet, I'm sad if others 'round me lose to it. I guess you could say "I don't like it". That's what an ego is. Strangers, alive or dead, It doesn't seem to matter, and Hating someone else has just become a fashion, and, Even then "we live in peace", so wonderful a thought, Yes, what a life so great, you know? Someone on the other side of monitors has passed away; Someone else is singing out a eulogy to honor them. Witness to it all, somebody else, a young boy had Picked up a knife and then run past! I can appreciate that you found it important, but please also understand that that old version brings me an immense amount of pain from just the thumbnail alone. And if it's something from your past, then this might be an opportunity to give it thanks and then move onto a future where much more impactful songs and covers are waiting for you.
