Liza Lou was the subject of a nice article in the New York Times. I like her art, and her style of feminism.

I dont know how I found this, but God knows I'm grateful I did. The good thing is, I wasn't there when he recorded this. I would've been somewhere whooping and hollering and praising God!!

This was so very inspiring! I met Dream Hampton a lifetime ago. She struck me then as someone I should know and she strikes me now as someone my daughter could learn from. Although, our meeting was incredibly brief, the power of her presence was felt. Good to see her on screen and I am going to view ALL of her work of art and history.

Claudia Rankine is one of the most grandiloquently overrated people in American life right now. Her writing has no there there. She speaks in an august voice about microaggressions. She is a bit like Kamala Harris with a marbled lofty tone and a less humorous immens self-regard.

he’s incredible~i found him on accident. i was at a cafe in chicago that sold books. i was browsing and found his book amongst so many others. i’m a photographer and i was so intrigued by the images of his work and i needed to buy it and research him. more people need to know of him, his work, his story, everything. he’s truly amazing.

Don't ever let a schizophrenic millennial with a scattered understanding of history interview a seasoned vet like Jafa. All respect to Jeremy O when operating in his field but this was a complete botch job.
