Fantastic work here Bob, I managed to found this video, because today was a big day for me, I just bought this lovely car, and with all the documentation that the car had, I found the CarPro owners manual, warranty card, the little sticker that you put on the envelope, thus I was able to find this video, I wanna thank you for the amazing work on it, after more than 2 years, since 2022 when you did it, the paint today was still amazing. Thank you Bob !

Great video Bob and a pristine result, I have the exact same car colour to work on,,m car is covered in auto car wash marks. I have always found Menzerna great for working on VW German cars. Im interested in how you tackled the paint touch ins , do you compound and polish again when filled or just a light polish?

Hi Clayton, My name is Vincent. I am In the U.S. I would like to know where I can get a copy of Ceramic Coating Assistant. Does it come from CarPro, or did you make it? I want to apply my first ceramic coating on my car and need as much help as possible. I like you are not a young man. But like care for my car THANK YOU
@englishbobshousemusic Жыл бұрын
Hi Vincent I made the program myself. I needed something to help with a coating (Carpro Professional) as it was a bit tricky to get the timing spot on. If I was you I would use an easier coating like Cquartz UK. As it it’s much more forgiving with timings. I am retired now, so won’t be developing the system anymore. To give it to someone would take a lot of support, especially if you don’t have Microsoft access experience. Give it 2 coats so it’s unlikely that you will forget an area. Good luck Clayton (English Bob)

How many cars for the 50 ml bottle?
@sxixlxnx Жыл бұрын
Pretty sure you used a lot more product than you initially show us. I use CQPro daily and if I only used four to five drops there’s no way I could spread it for that long, it would start grabbing and the pad would go dry. Can you confirm - thanks.
@englishbobshousemusic Жыл бұрын
Hi I apply exactly as shown in the video. If the outside temperature is hot i may use a little less time.
@sxixlxnx Жыл бұрын
@@englishbobshousemusic okay thank you 👍🏼 Regarding the left over product in the bottle (four drops per reload) you’d be left with over half a bottle for one application - let’s say you do a two coat, half the bottle left. Do you dispose of the remaining CQP? Thanks again.

The soft top sealant gives darker black color as well after applying it?

Maybe a small amount. The colour change is mostly due to the cleaning process.

Nice work, Sir. I started my business almost two years ago and paint correction is so satisfying. It's like breathing new life into the paint and hence, the car. I wanted to ask the purpose of spraying the surface before you start polishing? Does that help to minimize the amount of clear coat you cut in the compounding phase?
@englishbobshousemusic2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment. This type of sanding disk, from Rupes, is designed as “damp sanding”. It needs this water for lubrication and to help displace the cut, clear coat residue.

Absolutely awesome. No real feedback regarding improvements at all. I've been looking for a PC solution to help with job costing and itemisation for a year, and luckily I fell upon your video (and some others I've enjoyed). Note: just in regards to minor issues with the app: On the pre-detail checks you've spelt "Asses paint" rather than _assess paint_ .Funny but an important typo I feel. Anyway super job. I thought Jim White was scrupulous and meticulous with his business, but I think I've found someone on or over his level.

Bob, as a detailer you would know you use two buckets while washing, also you wash the underside of the car and go on wit the deck lid and rear window... Where do you think the sand off the underside of the car has gone Bob?
@englishbobshousemusic3 жыл бұрын
I always use 1 bucket with 5 wash mitts. It’s much safer than the 2 bucket method. A dirty mitt never goes back into the soap solution. This keeps the soap solution always 100% clean.
@paulwatts1704 Жыл бұрын
That's an interesting and logical approach - will use that in pref to 2 buckets!
