Evenings are the time I think they can keep up with the most. It wasn't til I came in a few days strait and flew right after work that I realized the hawk knows my schedule and he literally did..... Soon as I kind of randomly flew my birds I never got hit.

Newcomers,... Never get so focused on the linear genetics of the bird that you loose focus on the characteristics of the breeder.🤔

Little Giant Game Bird Waterers have been available since at least the early 1970s. They are produced by Miller Manufacturing Company, which has a long history in providing poultry and livestock products. The brand is known for its durable and functional designs tailored for both hobbyists and “commercial”farmers.

It was an excellent podcast. Constructive feedback from seasoned professionals like Jim would be invaluable! It's evident he truly mastered his skills! Maybe have him back for everything else he thinks about in the meantime. Smart guy plus experience. Thanks guys Eric

I noticed some of the older fanciers can take the mic never give it back and you will be locked in the whole interview and not one time did they tell you " what you gotta do" to have good spinners. Then you have some fellas that if you don't follow their instructions to the letter you will never have good birds.... (Based on the interviews they give). Me personally as a newbie I come to the channel to hear some of the experiences the vets have to tell about. Not to get a lesson in roller pigeons 101. Not to be misunderstood, you can learn from anyone or any experience and sure I take gems when I hear them. But tutorials and good pigeon tales are two totally diff wings.

I take it like this I pick up different ways of rollamem experience on what worked for them and if it’s something I think would work I would apply it and if it works then it was worth the time. I don’t think there can be a lessons for the reason that not everything they tell us will work for us . The best lesson I think is going around and seeing what rollermen are putting up especially in your area and seeing what their programs are about ( fly time , feeding, breeding etc) this podcast is more about getting to know our roller community and also certain methods of mastering the hobby especially for those that can’t travel much .

Guys in the 60’s gave Cod liver oil drops on the feed and the condition was amazing. Norm shows the Winsmore and some of elements are the same. Cod liver does have DHA which helps with arthritis etc.
