Ramsay’s grappling has improved immensely since this fight. I don’t understand the hate. Ramsey is a smart man who loves his job and his passion of martial arts. Why shit on a man’s noble career. He fought won some fights lost some fights. He now coaches fighters in China and is trying to popularize mma in China. He’s also very educated and smart no harm no foul.

I think it bothers people when he trashtalks other martial artists, while acting kind of smug, and then pretends to be some sort of martial arts expert, when he clearly is not.

Wow he fights like the kid in the class that is the worst at fighting ,in the school were non of the kids can fight and gives advice on self defense, who was he trying to punch from ten feet away, imagine watching someone trying to kick a ball and they are nowhere near it missing completely several times and seeting themselves up as a soccer coach.Maybe the guy can coach others, butit can't possibly be based on his own abilities, he has none.

I get the feeling Ramsey moved to China because he was getting beat up by everyone at the gyms in the USA. Not to disrespect the fighters in China, but there is an abundance of athletic, explosive fighters in the USA who I'm sure tuned up Ramsey in sparring sessions.

Stupid rules that not allows kick to the head when the opponent is on floor or see sitting is the main key that allows BJJ works in mixed martial arts. Orherwise BJJ can be said very less winning opportunities. its same dangerous inas you being kicked in the head while opponent in standing or bending position. Whats the differents? Its just the matter of who catch that opportunities and who stupid enough to flooring themself to the ground to get that kick. For real fighting ,this mma rules making mma fighter be a joke for the people whose have same fight quality level. It would be almost a straight kill.

How do people consider Ramsey a serious mma fighter
@womblesfan8939 Жыл бұрын
He sucks lol
@cyborgchicken3502 Жыл бұрын
First of all nobody considers him a fighter, he's an MMA coach, and just because he's not a good fighter in the ring doesn't mean he can't be a good coach, coaching and fighting are 2 different things and not everyone who's a good fighter can be a good coach and vice versa... Muhammad Ali for example was an excellent fighter but apparently was terrible as a coach... Cus D Amato wasn't a good boxer but he was a brilliant coach who molded some of the greatest pound for pound fighters in history including Mike Tyson who we all know was a beast in his prime
@Vinnay94 Жыл бұрын
@@cyborgchicken3502That's what I thought. People like Icy Mike, Ramsay Dewey are probably great coaches, but they didn't do too well in the USDC. I'd argue Bruce Lee wasn't a great fighter, but a great coach. Of course there are great fighters like Wonderboy who are also great coaches.
@Nickxxx85 Жыл бұрын
@@cyborgchicken3502 the thing is he portrayed himself as a good fighter and like to diminish other people skills. I remember him saying stuff like "even my students would easily beat Bruce Lee" meaning he is himself so so much beter than him while let's be real, Ramsey from that fight would be totally destroyed by Bruce, and literally by everyone who trained some martial arts for a year or two
@tomo280711 ай бұрын
@@Nickxxx85you live on another planet if you believe this...2 years of martial arts? Which ones? Not all martial art practices are equaly good at teaching function...2 years of tae kwon do and 2 years of mma are worlds appart...show me footage of Bruce Lee actually fighting anyone or grappling under pressure then we'll be able to evaluate his skill against Ramsey's

Good ass sportsmanship, 2 big men in crazy good shape! Seemed like a draw to me but Eric did have a little edge. Eric really showed love before and after the decision in a way that even if he lost I think he would of been as much of a stand up guy.
