A metaphor MUST have a metaphorical significance. Like for instance, Jesus is called the bread of life, because just like bread gives physical nourishment, Jesus gives spiritual nourishment. BUT you would NOT say, Jesus is a loaf of bread, He is five inches wide, four inches high, twelve inches long, made of wheat, barley, sesame seeds and olive oil and weighs about five pounds. That would be carrying the metaphor way too far. Likewise, when you read the description of the New Jerusalem it is way too specific, with way too many details to just be a metaphor. Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb 2 down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. 3 No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him. 4 They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. 5 There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever. There are three gates on each of its four sides. AND the city is so large as too hardly be able to comprehend. It is 1500 miles high, 1500 miles long, and 1500 miles wide. The names of the twelve tribes of Israel are on the gates and the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb are on its foundations. We are promised physical bodies: 2 Corinthians 5:1 says, "For we know that when this earthly tent we live in is taken down (that is, when we die and leave this earthly body), we will have a house in heaven, an eternal body made for us by God himself and not by human hands. 2 We grow weary in our present bodies, and we long to put on our heavenly bodies like new clothing. 3 For we will put on heavenly bodies; we will not be spirits without bodies. Since we are going to LITERAL bodies that are made to last forever in God's kingdom, why wouldn't we expect to have a literal city to live in?

What happened to "speaking in a new tongue" Karl? The only Bible evidence (witness) to truly being baptized in the Holy Spirit. You cannot simply say "and be baptized in the Holy Spirit" because you would know with certainty that many professing Christians claim that they are baptized in the Holy Spirit because their church told them so, or the popular false doctrine that a person receives the Holy Spirit automatically when they 'believe' in Jesus as their Saviour. I thought you were against compromise Karl, but it seems you want to make yourself more palatable for your new found American audience.

And now we all know why Armageddon is true and coming upon us soon. The prophecies of Zechariah 12 and 14 are becoming more real as we observe Zionist Israel's genocide and ethnic cleansing of her half-brother semitic people the Arabs (from Ishmael) from Palestine aided and abetted by Zionist America. 1 Behold, a day is coming for the LORD, when the spoil taken from you will be divided in your midst. 2 For I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem to battle, and the city shall be taken and the houses plundered and the women raped. Half of the city shall go out into exile, but the rest of the people shall not be cut off from the city. ~ Zechariah 14:

Some problems … At about 14:00, Karl disputes the association of 666 to Nero because he was already dead when Revelation was written. But for some reason Karl doesn’t inform his viewers about the Nero Redivivus Legend which was a rumor in the ancient world that Nero would return from the dead, a concern the author of Revelation would have been aware of. This fear of Nero specifically can easily account for why Nero continued to be relevant to Revelation’s warnings. Karl also fails to mention that there is a variant calculation for the name of the beast as 616 in older manuscripts, and that depending on who is saying Nero’s name (Latin speakers or Greek speakers), both variants point back to Nero. Why would Karl leave out two of the most important reasons why most biblical scholars feel that 666 refers to Nero? At 21:15 Karl says that the papacy is the only institution that satisfies all of the prophetic details surrounding who 666 refers to. This contradicts what Karl claims at 00:41 seconds which is that the papacy does not fulfill all prophecies of the antichrist. More importantly, however, starting at about 09:00, Karl stresses the importance of 666 referring to a man and rejects a series of symbols and corporate logos based solely on the fact none of them were an actual man. He doubles down on this prophetic requirement again around 23:40. So why does Karl conclude that it is the papacy, which is not a man but rather, an office? An office is no more a man than the Monster energy drink logo. By Karl’s own criteria, the papacy must be rejected for the same reason. At 27:35 Karl tries to justify the abstraction from a man to an office by claiming that the office derives from a man named Lateinos, citing Irenaeus’ writings in “Against Heresies.” Karl goes on to claim that Lateinos is both a proper name in Latin as well as the father of the Latin race, satisfying the requirement that 666 refer to a man. Irenaeus does indeed speculate that Lateinos is a reasonable guess as to who 666 refers to, but there’s a few things Karl fails to mention. First, while it is true Irenaeus discusses Lateinos as a reasonable candidate for 666, Irenaeus explains why he thinks the name “Titan” is an even better guess immediately after discussing Lateinos. Second, the earliest use of the word “Lateinos” is this very book by Irenaeus who uses it to refer to the entire Roman empire, not a man. Lateinos is not a proper name, period. Third, Lateinos is not the name of the father of the Latin race. The Latin people and their language developed over centuries from various Indo-European languages. There is no singular "father" we can identify. Finally, Karl ends his video with several Catholic titles and phrases that equal 666. In the same chapter Irenaeus speculates about the identity of 666, he also writes “Although certain as to the number of the name of antichrist, yet we should come to no rash conclusions as to the name itself, because this number is capable of being fitted to many names.” Irenaeus was not impressed with how many names equated to 666 using gematria. Why should we be? Whether you want to credit Karl with dishonesty or ignorance, he’s untrustworthy at best. But that’s to be expected when his only qualification for teaching the Bible is that he repented and was baptized.

You claim that the KJV is the ONLY Bible worth reading because it is true and faithful to the word of God is ideological (your religious glasses). KJV 6 This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth. 7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. 8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one. 9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son. ~ 1John 5: NENT 6 This is he that came by water and blood, Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and with the blood. 7 And it is the Spirit that witnesseth, because the Spirit is the truth. 8 Because the witnessing ones are three: the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and the three agree in one. 9 If we receive the witness of *men, the witness of *God is greater: because the witness of *God is this that he hath witnessed concerning his *Son. ~ 1John 5: ESV 6 This is he who came by water and blood-Jesus Christ; not by the water only but by the water and the blood. And the Spirit is the one who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth. 7 For there are three that testify: 8 the Spirit and the water and the blood; and these three agree. 9 If we receive the testimony of men, the testimony of God is greater, for this is the testimony of God that he has borne concerning his Son. ~ 1John 5:

Your addiction to the KJV only is not merited nor of good Biblical scholarship. Not all modern translations are simply based on the Westcott-Hort manuscripts. These have been superseded by accessing the many more manuscripts held in Eastern Orthodox libraries (including the Aramaic gospel), the Septuagint, other Greek & Hebrew manuscripts - materials not available to the Bible translators of Oxford University in the 1600s. There are also controversies about just how original and intact the Textus Receptus used by Oxford is given the habit of various rabbinical schools of doctrine to add and subtract from their manuscripts to justify their teachings. The KJV may be wonderful English but it is not the inspired word of God and does contain errors and extra verses. The fundamental requirement of what must we do to be saved is not made more palatable by 400 year old English. Most people I witness to refuse to believe that a person MUST be born from above by water and Spirit with the Bible evidence of speaking in a new tongue. As people cannot embrace the foundation of salvation in this lifetime, the issue of reading a KJV is irrelevant.
@KarlTester3 күн бұрын
Methinks thou doth protest too much. The translations that you have put forward in your previous comments which you have held out to be superior do in fact use the corrupt Westcott & Hort Text. This is not good. Again I ask, where I have said that the KJV is free from errors? It is a mistake to think that something of the Scriptures needs to be more palatable. In fact we know that the Word of God is full of things that are unpalatable. Clearly we are not going to agree on this point, so let's move on from it.

In regard to the idea that we will not return to animal sacrifices, please consider the following: Matthew 26:28 This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. As you can read, Jesus His offer is for the current covenant. Jeremiah 31:33-34 But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.” In my honest opinion God told us trough Jeremiah there will be a final covenant, and its not the current one made by Jesus, because we still teach each other and our sins are still remembered. So Jesus His covenant of the blood is not everlasting. In Revelation you can read that at the end of the thousand year Kingdom there will be no more sin and God will wipe the tears from our eyes, since there will be no more sin that would in my opinion be the time that the laws will be written on our hearts and sin wil be forgotten completely forever. Jesus also said that in the Kingdom He would eat passover again, Luke 22:15-16 And he said to them, “I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer. For I tell you, I will not eat it again until it finds fulfillment in the kingdom of God.” So if Jesus will eat Passover again, that will mean their will be sacrifices again, you cant have Passover without a sacrificed lamb. Since Jesus His covenant of the blood isnt everlasting, because there will be a final one at the end of the thousand year Kingdom, and since Passover will be celebrated by Jesus during the thousand year Kingdom, in my honest opinion it means the thousand year Kingdom will also start with a new covenant, a covenant that requires sacrifices for unintentional sin. Another reason i believe the Kingdom will begin with a new covenant, is because Jesus will rule with an iron rod. That means those who sin will be punished, that is not what happens under the current covenant. So in my honest opinion, when Jesus takes up rule and rules with an iron rod, it will be trough a new covenant (because the current covenant is about forgiveness and repentance and not about punishment), and since it would not be righteous to punish unintentional sin with an iron rod, animal sacrifices will be required too.

I disagree with your interpretation on the meaning of 19 in which he went and proclaimed to the spirits in prison, 20 because they formerly did not obey, when God's patience waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight persons, were brought safely through water. ~ 1Peter 3: Scripture does not state that Jesus did this at the time of Noah, but rather those spirits which did not obey God at the time of Noah [Genesis 6: 1-4] who were then imprisoned [Tartarus] For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell and committed them to chains of gloomy darkness to be kept until the judgment; ~ 2Peter 2: 4 And the angels who did not stay within their own position of authority, but left their proper dwelling, he has kept in eternal chains under gloomy darkness until the judgment of the great day ~ Jude 1: 6 After the death of Jesus his Spirit (the Spirit of God returned to the Father) then Jesus as Spirit was able to travel to Tartarus where the fallen angels were imprisoned and preached of his great victory of salvation over them - that is their defeat and loss of power over death. Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil. ~ 1John 3: 8 One of the many problems with the KJV is the overuse of the word "hell" to cover a multitude of different meanings in the original languages.

If we continue with your principle of "let the Bible interpret itself" it is clear in these verses that first there is a judgement. There would be no need for a judgement if everybody (the rest of the dead) were all condemned for the lake of fire. Rev 20: 12B ~ "And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done" clearly describes a process of determining who are not recorded in the Book of Life. The corollary being that those names found in the Book of Life are not thrown into the lake of fire. Rev 20:15 And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire. ~ again this clearly indicates that there are names written in the Book of Life. This would also cover righteous judgement of infants, toddlers, the righteous outside of the Law, all who lived in ancient times, etc. And this would also dovetail with matters of salvation and judgement in the OT concerning the keeping of the Law, doing righteousness, a contrite spirit, repentance, and so on ... as in Ezekiel 18: 5-9 and Isaiah 58: 6-14.
@KarlTester8 күн бұрын
I am not sure what point you are trying to make, however letting the Bible interpret itself is not my principle.

8 and will come out to deceive the nations that are at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them for battle; their number is like the sand of the sea. 9 And they marched up over the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city, but fire came down from heaven and consumed them, ~ Rev 20: I concur that this correlates with Ezekiel 38 & 39 ~ note that this battle is after the restoration of Israel (Ephraim) and Judah in Ezekiel 37 which would also fit in with "and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city".

In my Pentecostal church meetings wherein the three voice gifts of the Holy Spirit operate, and principally the gift of prophecy, God speaks to this issue. Both 1Corinthians 15 and 1Thessalonians 4 have been cited by God in expressing that when Jesus returns to claim his own this is indeed at his arrival, and that those so raised up to meet Jesus shall enter the eternities at this time (event) and forever be with the Lord. Revelation 20:6 Blessed and holy is the one who shares in the first resurrection! Over such the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and they will reign with him for a thousand years. This is the reward for those who have been sealed by God, are overcomers and have remained faithful and steadfast. As such they have received eternal life and therefore are not part of any subsequent resurrection and judgements of humankind which is based on their works.

@24:00 did any of the 1500's and subsequent great awakenings and revivals following the Protestant Reformation bring the knowledge of the Oneness of God to the lost? Seems to me the disobedient Reformers continued in the RCC's lie of the Trinity. Luther flat out rejected the Oneness of God; he called it heresy. So what good was the Protestant Reformation since it didn't bring about the fundamental truth of who God the Father - of who Jesus is? God always keeps a remnant for himself, those who will not bow their knee to Baal i.e. the Trinity (Bale - Father, Molech-Son, Ishtar- Holy Spirit). So who were the people of the Book that kept alive the knowledge of who God really is during the Dark Ages and beyond the Protestant Reformation? The true church must have been hiding in Greece, and or somewhere in Arabia maybe -- who were they? It certainly wasn't the Protestant Reformers.🤷🏻♀️
