Very boring.... encounter deck manipulation and limitless hand size destroy this game completely.... I stop to play it long time ago couse of even impossible to lose if you reach a certain levefaof gaming

I'm playing through for the first time and like to see what others have done after I've finished each quest! (well except Dol Guldur...) Northern trackers became invaluable for me since i have a bad habit of letting locations pile up :D

I've tried Escape from Dol Guldur solo like 10 times on semi-easy mode and here's you just waltzing through it-- Very lucky card draw :>

I can see how this would be a terrible solo quest, but my wife and I beat it first try!

I just used this deck three games in a row and stomped the quest so flat it was insane.

Very original quest! Well played, is hard sometimes on this quests to calculate when should one jump into the final move so sometimes I also just turtle around to get as strong as possible.

Awesome stuff, love your videos. I’m new to the game and curious about building the encounter decks. I included the cards with the orange ring around the icons and ended up fighting a couple different hill trolls. When a card goes to the victory stage do you no longer fight additional copies of that card?

Tried loading this quest after seeing your play through but can't seem to get Black Riders Bilbo for some reason. I have tried both standalone and campaign quests, any ideas ?

Great play through! Love the silvan archetype. Noticed one small mistake though. You played two “The Tree People” in the same planning phase. Don’t think it would have changed anything though.

Great play, as always! I may be wrong, but didn't the Shadow from Oppressive Forest tell you to add it to the staging area if there wasn't any location in the staging area? (And there was one already...) This really messed up your plan and shouldn't have happened, so this victory should count twice because it was harder than usual! 😄

I must confess your playstyle is totally different to mine. I usually play two-handed with less card draw, more characters and I try to keep my threat low. So everytime I see your decklist I think 'this is not going to work' and then I am surprised at how you beat the quest.

At 18:00 the Dunland Prowler attacks for 2+1 from the Shadow effect, so he should dealt two points of damage to Beorn. Thus at 22:45 the Dunland Berserker attacks for 2+1 with his Shadow effect and kills Beorn. But this damage could have been taken undefended on Glorfindel.

Well, that's weird. Wilyador says 'no attachments' and yet Noxious Supplies and Shot from the Sky say 'attach to Wilyador'. The poor Wardens of Healing were discarded needlessly though, as the Athelas card would have been enough to heal the eagle.

Song of Kings might actually have been better than A Good Harvest here because it is an attachment and permanent, even though slightly more expensive.

Interesting, it seems like more controlling verison of a trap deck I created. I made mono-lore deck with the most obvious trap cards, but it was almost unplayable due to low will-power. So I ended up splashing Visionary Leadership to deal with that problem. Good to see the deck work against such a hard quest.

Passing Burgle tests is really easy, when you just draw the card you looked at for the Burgle test, as there is an action window.

I think the threat goes up by 4, not 3. Would you not still add the one at the beginning of the phase

At 24:30 , you split up the 20 progress across the location and the quest card. I’m new to this game, but I thought the progress tokens don’t spill over? Am I interpreting the rules wrong? Love this series, can’t wait to watch more!

Watcher in the Water is my favourite quest in the Dwarrowdelf cycle and I usually go for the kill. But I could just as well throw in a Black Arrow and some side quests to cheat the victory condition.

Amazing playthrough. Loved how you kept safe from the balrog on the first turns and then solved its attacks with elrond and 3 warden of healing. I think you would have not needed the three of them because with Elrond's power each warden would heal 2 points. But brilliant play and deck nonetheless

man looking at the new eowyn and frankly how op she is this version of her sucks ass, like she almost solo clears scenarios where theres like a final boss in the end, escape from dol guldur comes to mind, battle of the five armies, battle of carn durn tho admittedly shes not as good in the last one cos it keeps going back and forth between batttle and siege its honestly a crutch, just quest quest quest and at the end just use her ability on the big bad evil guy and basically one shot him with the 10 atk
