Played this game for years straight after school. The hidden content and upgrades were insane. The real birth of Easter eggs. As open world as a game could be for the 90s.

I imagine that Megadrive/Genesis version of this soundtrack would sound really interesting too. Actually, I think those tracks are reimagening of early Jesper Kyd's works for Sub-Terrania, Red Zone and Batman & Robin.

This sparked my interest in electronic music over twenty years ago. Never really found anything much like it. Found a lot of cool stuff though.

(maybe? see notes) The distortion on the lyrics makes them hard to understand. The first line from Wastelands bothered me for years in trying to understand the words. I often misunderstood the line as: "People want an industrial age, people want progress ... we give it to them... I even regret it myself." The second line from Ocean is troublesome because the Wiki has it listed as, "Why do you involve yourself with revolutionaries and anarchists?" but after listening to it about a dozen times there's no way I can construe the word "do" there. For the third line I have no idea what is being said, it's unclear due to the distortion and that the speaker slurs the words. It could be: "The rock is to the right!" or "The r__ is gonna ___". 39:32 is the least distorted instance and it's very hard to understand. Does anyone know what's actually being said on some of these?
