I think that the three, Uli, Michaël and Mathias, know their own level, and they don't care to know who is the best. Mathias is able to play whatever Uli or Maichaël plays. It's the same for Michaël and Uli, music is not a competition, musicians play together and not against somone or another one.

He couldn't play most of the normal chords due to the hand thing. So he played his way. If broken down into simplest form . La pompe is a 3 part thymic phrase. A muted up pick of bottom 3strings followed dby a really fast muted down pick of all 6 followed by a slower down pick while fretting gently the last down. And it repeats, up down down ,don't count the up and play downs as 1 2 then repeat for 3 4 ill add a video link .
