Sehr gut geflogen wünschte wir währen auch mal da gewesen um zu fliegen..aber hat immer nur für Dümmersee gereicht..naja jetzt wird der No.1 vertickt...werde nich dann mitm Wipeout beschäftigen...Gruß Michael

What is the atomrc setup and battery plus flight time please.

I use the stock motor with a 6*4 prop and a 4S 3300mAh battery. Flight times can be up to 40 minutes if you take it easy on the throttle. I usually land after 20-30 minutes and have a healthy safety margin left.

@@MrProvotroll it has always flown like its balancing on a ball. Wanders off, mainly in the roll axis. Hands off flying is basically impossible. Inav 3.0 has improved it but only marginally. Spent ages tuning cg, rates, throws, thrust angles. Got them all dialed but still rolls off the ball. Flying on 4s.

Haha, my setup is so old it would be difficult to get to parts. I'm old school with analog 2.4 GHz video and EZUHF rc link. If you start now, there are probably better solutions available.

@@cloudsflyer1112 Alles bestens. 😉 Es war nur immer irgend etwas wenn eigentlich ein FPV-Trip angesagt war. zB hat ein paar Mal das Wetter nicht mitgespielt oder die Grenzen in Europa waren plötzlich dicht. 🤷🏻 An Motivation hat es zu keiner Zeit gemangelt.

O man this footage is so inspiring, and is exactly the kind of flying I want to do. Thanks for sharing. Btw, I don't know if you know this already but I see the codec in this video is avc1. If you upload at 4k (even if you need to upsample) youtube will encode your video using the better quality VP09 codec. Your footage deserves it, PS. love the song choice. Just looked it up on Spotify

This is a mix of different locations around the European Alps. Several different countries involved.

@@Eon46 I have tried different setups throughout the years. You will most likely need a UHF system and a 1.2 or 2.4GHz analog video transmitter to achieve a reliable long range system with a low latency.

Amazing footage! What is the camera on board of the Z3? Switzerland looks to be a RC paradise, until you eventually ditch your wing on some summits.

Thanks :-) Guigui and I both use (good old) GoPro hero 3 black cameras for recording. BTW: most of the footage was not shot in Switzerland but in other parts of the European Alps.

Oh boy, I wish that would be true. Unfortunately it's the exact opposite. 🙄 I live in Germany and have pretty much stopped flying here for that reason. Most of the footage in this video is from other countries with less populated areas and more tolerant people. Sad but true.

You will need a UHF RC-link and a 1.2 or 2.4 GHz video link with some high gain antennas.
