Been years since I've been to Branson, never eat at these places. Years ago we eat at the Farmhouse a lot and the old Wayne's restaurant by 76 Mall . 76 Mall was my favorite store to visit as a child . There were Two steak houses , One on each end of the strip that were delicious. I wish I remembered the name.
@HaveFunLetsTravel13 күн бұрын
76 Music Hall is now called Grand Country and their restaurant is buffet style, mostly. We just ate at Farmhouse Saturday for breakfast and it's still as good as always. I'm not familiar with either of the steakhouses or Old Wayne's. There was an Old Matt's in that area many years ago.
@robertdodd962313 күн бұрын
@@HaveFunLetsTravel The Wayne's Restaurant appeared briefly in some 1987 footage I just watched. It was a small restaurant I guess just East of 76 Mall . There were some carnival rides between the Two. Wayne's had good food, and the best Walnut pie you ever sunk a tooth in ! Now I think there's a difference between 76 music hall and the old 76 Mall ?

It is sad how times can have a way of changing things. We have to be thankful for our memories. If you plan on going to the park 2 days of more annually, it is cheaper to get a season pass which includes discounts on food. We are planning on going to Dollywood this Fall and since it and several other properties are owned by the Hershend family, admission is half off at each of those locations.

I'm not a religious person, I don't believe in karma or anything like that, but something led to this video being in my feed this morning. My name is Mike I live in Southwest Florida I'm 43 years old. I've been a recluse for about the last 4 months because my 38-year-old wife died from a pulmonary embolism out of the blue the day before Thanksgiving. It was like you were speaking directly to me. The passing out and waking up over and over again yep I saw that with my own eyes. I did CPR on her for 20 minutes until the paramedics arrived, they did it for at least another 40 before they took her to the hospital where she was pronounced Dead on arrival. Just the year before we lost everything but the clothes on our backs due to hurricane Ian. We were living in hotels I was commuting a hundred miles each way for work everyday. Her last night on this planet, I worked late. I never forgave myself for that, still haven't. She died at 8:00 a.m. the next day while I was getting ready for work. Just out of the blue we were in the middle of a conversation and she slumped over, she had been almost nodding out and catching herself for a few minutes but she had just woken up I thought maybe she was still tired. I never will forgive myself for that either. I've been going to work everyday and then I come home and I just sit in the house ,and I'm not going anywhere. I don't do anything. I haven't gotten rid of any of her stuff , I haven't moved any of her stuff. Her toothbrush is still right next to mine. It's like I'm living in a museum to a dead person. Watching your video today made me realize that. I'm starting over with basically nothing because of the hurricane, and now that she's gone, literally the only physical connection I have to my old life where everything was like it was supposed to be is our dog. Who himself is getting up there in years. He's nine. And just watching this today, while I'm sitting out on my patio drinking coffee on this gorgeous Florida Saturday morning made me realize that I've been neglecting myself and my life. that I need to move on. I didn't even realize I was doing it. I've been eating like garbage. Working a ton of hours. Coming home and sleeping basically. I'm depressed, my dogs depressed. And it took watching a stranger on the internet to figure that out. So thank you

Mike, I was away from my computer all weekend with only my phone and I wanted to get back to my computer to reply. Your message meant so much to me and I want to say, "THANK YOU SO MUCH", for sharing your story. We never know what each second of life has in store for us and more times than not, we have no control over it. You said you worked late the night before she passed. You were only trying to provide for your family, you had no way of knowing what was to come so try not to ever think that. It will only hold you back from your life's purpose. October 28, 1997, I had lots of dental work done and was lying on the couch trying to rest the evening I last time I saw my mother. She was leaving to take a handicapped friend to Houston, Texas the next morning for his Navy reunion. I was so out of it, I don't remember if I told her I loved her or not that night before she left my house. At 10:32 the next morning, she was killed instantly in a car crash that was 100% accidental. An elderly man, who was helping his handicapped friend, hit them. It was totally an accident and I don't blame the man at all. People in the cars behind her, when it happened, were doctors, nurses, and emt workers who were headed to work and saw it happen. What are the odds of that? One of the last things I remember her telling me just a few days before was, "If something ever happens to one or the other of us, let's promise we'll do everything we can to protect and stay close to the rest of our family". After all these years I have wondered if I told her I loved her but I know for a fact she knew that. Knowing this helps me. I still have my bad days but I close my eyes and talk to her as if she was sitting right next to me. My entire family has always tried to do anything we could to make some great memories that we will always cherish along with doing as much as we can to help preserve the history of our family, friends, and country, along with lending a hand to help others, without any hidden agenda, as often as we can. The main purpose of Have Fun, Let's Travel is to "Make Memories, Preserve History, and Help Others". Your comment let me know that my purpose in life and making these videos is helping others just like I hoped it would. Thanks again for sharing your story with us. Stand tall and start living your life like your wife would want you too. You deserve it!
