This channel is dedicated to teaching lessons to young Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing kids in their own language. Some lessons are very basic and others are more advanced. All lessons are taught using American Sign Language (ASL) or Conceptually Accurate Signed English (CASE).
Both Signed Lessons team members are hearing interpreters living in the Midwest. The female signer has worked almost exclusively as an educational interpreter. Deaf and hard-of-hearing kids in mainstream schools often use a mix of ASL, CASE, and PSE. Her lessons reflect that language preference. The male signer has worked as both a community and educational interpreter. His lessons are more often presented in ASL.
