Wow, this is very sad to see. I moved to Jacksonville, NC in August and Northeast Creek Park is one of the number one parks I visit to go birding. I have said many times that it would be awesome to have a pond or small lake in the massive open field near the first parking lot. Very sad to see that there were two small ponds in that field. I wonder how many birds would visit those lagoons for food. Also the fact that this was 10 years ago, and the one field has no "sport" field.

Just found out it was gone, that was sad to hear. As a young Marine in the early 80's, I went there often. My wife loved that place. Was thinking of moving to Jacksonville years ago, but by then it was already closed. Just sad to hear that it's completely gone.

Hi nice video. We have a neighborhood pond in Texas. Interested in the flea Beetles because our pond has been taken Over by alligator weed. Does the flea beetle pose a danger to other shrub and garden plants?

The way Vets are treated in Onslow county is appalling disguisting and a disgrace at best. Fuck you

I thought that place would be around for a while. I went to school with the daughter of one of the Bynum brothers, Deborah, and it was a Jacksonville staple. It’s really sad to see locally owned restaurants that helped build J’ville come to an end like that. When my family was coming back from vacation we knew we were close to home when we saw the “SEAFOOD” sign from Fishermen’s Warf all lit up. I’m sure the growth rate of Onslow County just swallowed it up. Very sad 😞

@@JB91710 You're right, it wasn't, much like your comment. Guess what, Jack, this video wasn't made for you nor was it to teach you anything, so get over it and move on. You're almost 70, or maybe you are, and spend your days arguing on KZbin videos. What a sad life that is.

Wow..haven't lived there in a while. So sad to see Fisherman's Wharf restaurant demolished...the Bynum's ran a nice business. Happy to see Steve Koz. out in front the run, too. Good memories, good town.

Misha Mccrea its very quiet and if you come from a large city up north you may find it slow but that may be good for the kids.
@mishamccrea53038 жыл бұрын
Actually born and raised in Bermuda but living in the states but prefer Southern areas more quiet and the pace is much slower so North Carolina I went to Emerald Island and really enjoyed North Carolina still house hunting but prefer close to Coastal Areas. Thanks for your advice

And the one they built to replace it is now for sale for $157,000 dollars. Let's see how long it takes to sell, being a "destination" and all.
