How would control revenue loss due to drivers exiting without paying parking fee since there is no barrier? Would you please explain?

The number plate data of drivers exiting without having paid is saved in a separate database. For 48 hours (customizable by the car park operator), the driver is able to pay the due fee using the pay later portal. If the driver does not pay within these 48 hours, the car park operator has the possibility to hand over to enforcement.

Does this system solely rely on reading the license plate, or is there a secondary factor of authentication, such as checking the make, model, and color of the car or prompting the owner of the registered license plate to acknowledge the parking process through a connected app or device? We've encountered this problem with other automatic billing services that solely rely on license plate recognition: plates get stolen, and people rack up huge bills. While those charges can usually be disputed, it still creates a bureaucratic hurdle that could be avoided by designing a system that authenticates the user (the plate) using more than one factor.

Absolutely rubbish. This has removed choice. Not everyone wants this. Not everyone has a smartphone. It doesn't speed up access at all. I have attended every home game this season to date and this is just not true. It actually takes longer to get into the stadium than ever before. Also, despite the clubs heavy-handed propaganda, this is not compulsory. You can have the usual season ticket card or print at home ticket which obviously have the QR code on and work exactly the same as the e-ticket. They are not slower options. In fact I access the stadium quicker than most people with the e-ticket. Most of the information stated in this as facts are not. The club should be ashamed at taking away choice from loyal supporters who pay through the nose to watch their team. I'm disgusted with the club, I've had a season ticket since 1976, for rushing this through. And Bamford, you are supposed to be intelligent. What a myth that is.

Thank you for your feedback. We understand your concerns with eTicketing systems. However, it is good to know that the club is still providing an option for traditional access and that it is not compulsory. eTickets have several benefits compared to traditional paper tickets. They are more convenient and eco-friendly, since they don't require printing and can be easily stored on a mobile device. Additionally, electronic tickets can't be lost or forgotten, as they can be easily accessed through a mobile device. Electronic tickets also make it easy to add new features like dynamic pricing, resale options, and refund management. Overall, electronic tickets are a more efficient and cost-effective solution than paper tickets.

@SKIDATA thanks for your reply, patronising as it is. I fully understand the "eco-friendly" arguments thanks very much. I just don't buy them. You should know that we are not all gullible. The club went out of its way to discourage loyal supporters (customers) from taking up the choice of an actual physical ticket and will do the same again at renewal time in a couple of months. Out of all of my Leeds United "family" who I've enjoyed sitting with for many years, I am the only one who held out and insisted on a physical ticket. They felt bullied into accepting this and at the risk of repeating myself, I am disgusted with the club. Good luck with your business, but please don't assume that we are all on board with this. Removing choice is not democratic.

La gran ventaja de esta tecnología es la no necesidad de descargarse una App. Directamente, escaneando el ticket, abrirá en el navegador predeterminado de tu smartphone pudiendo pagar con los distintos medios de pago que el usuario tenga asociados en su móvil!

to many issues with the coders and the updates cause to many glitches in the system. every last coder, gate and booth has had to many issues. the skilled and certified trainers need more and better people to provide better equipment for the price. its a scam. its almost as if the system is timed to fall apart. when updates happen more and more issues happen. Technical support takes way to long to help out when needed. parts are to much and they charge way to much to come troubleshoot. Total scam!!!
