Thank you for sharing your experiences. I am fairly new to fragrance collection and have made a few expensive mistakes from which I am learning. I am trying to only add full bottles that will enhance my collection rather than a smash and grab approach.

My pleasure, Linda. I appreciate your comments! We’ve all had mistakes, but, for what it’s worth, I found that “re-homing” mine worked out really well. I used Mercari, but there are lots of sites where you can sell fragrances that you don’t want to keep.

I love old-school chypres, including Cabochard. They’re amazing. I especially love Estée Lauder’s Youth Dew, although it seems to be reformulated and isn’t as strong. I’ll give Coriandre a try! Thanks for the tip!

Very useful tips. We don't have Mercari in the UK but I've started to look into buying 2nd hand on Ebay etc. There are some very good grey market sites; I rarely pay full price and just wait for the hype to die down before I buy 💳💰

Great video. The Mariner's Rhyme sounds right up my alley, and I'll definitely add this to my to try list. I'm a big fangirl of Francesca Bianchi and own 9 of her earlier work ❤. Two of my favourite aquatics are Squid by Zoologist and Lineage by Amouage and definitely not a run of the mill aquatics.
