Definitely a mudder. I got there Sunday morning. It was 30 degrees when we got there and 24 by noon. The ground wasn’t froze at all and it was snowing. My daughter had mud in her hair that froze solid. Trucks were stuck in the parking lot. Luckily I kinda anticipated it and drove my half ton Chevy with BFG KM3s on it and just put the machine in the bed instead of a diesel pulling a trailer. You were saying an XR200 would be fun in this what about a Yamaha TTR230?
@nosyjoe5 күн бұрын
I’m not sure how light the TTR230 is but the old xr200r is something I can pick up like Scott Summers did an xr600

And that’s what I figured about today in the parking lot, maybe worse!

Once my bike weight 300lbs I couldn't go fast enough to knock any mud off, and to all the riders who put on a ride clinic by knocking out 3,4 and 5 laps 😮 your amazing 🎉

I enjoy your videos and commentary. I’ll be 40 in January and it’s making me want to try it. Been trail riding for many years just never raced. A DRZ seems like a solid choice. I have the ATV version of that with that engine and for a trail ride it’s my go to over faster higher revving engines. Tons of linear torque, very reliable and smooth

That was me stuck on the first hill, lol when my group came around there was a guy who had laid his bike over and I decided to try and shoot right but got stuck on a log. About 10 minutes after that one of the pro guys came around and absolutely cleaned me out. Never revved or yelled and I just floated over into his line. Completely destroyed my bars and lever ended my day early! I had to limp off the 2nd half of the course Was fun for my first race and was a super cool experience. Wish I could’ve finished I had a great start.
