you went from clack to thack ... maybe another layer of foam and the keyboard resting on a foam mat will give you the Thock if you're looking for that, cuz I manage to get mine thocking and got rid of all my clack and thacking.

honestly I need a lot of experimenting to do with this board, I might try desoldering the switches and opening up to lube them one day. I might end up removing the tape later on though.

Why would you buy a board that isn't hotswap💀? (Or did you have this for years now?)
@Popzicle Жыл бұрын
@@ShikiRyougi05 Ive had this for about 1 and a half years now, I didnt really have plans to customize the keyboard at the time so
@Popzicle Жыл бұрын
@@ShikiRyougi05i also got it before i was really into the customization scene for keyboards

@@Popzicle well that makes sense then. I remember looking at razer keyboards with blue switches in stores back when i was like 14 and thinking they were the coolest shit ever...now i know better of course and luckily i never got one back then xF

yo try and improve those stabs first they will make a bigger difference than lubing switches

@Popzicle Жыл бұрын
sadly I dont have a video on modifying my keyboard, nor do I plan taking apart this keyboard again unless I have to, but here is a video of some other guy doing it. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jKDMlneClseAq9U heres a few more links of people doing teardowns of the Apex 7/Pro www.techpowerup.com/review/steelseries-apex-pro-keyboard/4.html www.reddit.com/r/steelseries/comments/u9z0ob/how_to_detach_apex_7pro_tkl/
