Hard to believe they started in 66, a year before i was born, and here they are in all their glory. Its too bad richie never got the full success of neil and stephen, but God had other plans for him, and hes a minister. Like the angel said to Enoch, mortal man can never understand the mind of God.

Superb...only thing missing were the horns...which they used on the original version. Powerful song.

…THIS IS NOT BUFFALO SPRINGFIELD !
@jamesnash72624 ай бұрын
…this is not of course Buffalo Springfield…this is Stills Furay and Young and a couple of pick-up players…i guess in the USA where Journey or Foreigner or Steely Dan or the Rolling Stones can still perform with one or two original members and nobody seems to care…i guess all the “tribute” bands have dulled everyone’s perception and discretion…

Regardless these guys had all aged a fair bit (13 years ago already in 2024), that magic is still there. It's hard to imagine just how exciting it must have been for them in 1966, young and bursting out with talent and creativity and maybe not yet realising just how importantly they were going to shape some of the best music of the 70s.

Richie's best song. Much more into Neil or Steve, but when I first heard this I thought oh Neil wrote another song that Richie is singing.

I love Richie Fury since the first album of Buffalo Springfield!! In my mind he is and was the master link to any band success excluding the Eagle!!! Richie makes my heart stop because it gets so full of love!!

People with smart phones think its wonderful to post their concert videos online. Get so tired of the crap audio...the listener is only getting a 40% max experience, so why bother posting it...just to say, "look, I was there!?" Would rather go to the original studio version. On the other hand there's nothing like an energetic live version if the recorder/poster takes the pains to make sure it sounds right. If you can't, just keep it to yourself.

Depending on the year, I'd say, "Yes - Hell, yes!". So, the music reviewer obviously had suspect musical taste.

I always live in the sixties and seventies especially musically. Next time I go insane I think I'm just going to stay there. Just as long as I don't get stuck in a bummer like a couple of the ones I had in 67, and get stuck in that forever.

It's not really a band, just a pick-up group of A-list musicians & friends in Nashville who get together for "Neil Night" every 12-18 mos or so.
