As someone who has been playing tthis game since Battlefield Vietnam, I can tell you this is one of the most polished games I have ever seen. As of 2025 this game is incredible beautiful with a reasonable netcode. The latter has always been a problem for the franchise, but they nailed in this one.

From its very rocky launch and all its terrible bugs, to it being free when I snagged it and onto them wrapping up support, I am surprised this game still gets played. Such a shame really I had high hopes for this game before it released because to me DICE always gave me something that I enjoyed, BF3, 4, V, 1, Bad Company 2. This wasn't it baby not for me at least. I often wonder how it would have faired had all the targets been met without the drawback of all the problems???

I still play BF1 & 4 to this day, 2024 is a lot of fun now too! I hope the next one releases in a fully polished state though! 🙏

@onlyinbattlefield yeah I was playing BF1, 4 and V not that long ago myself. I was even playing BF3 on one of the original platforms the PS3 around 2 years ago, couldn't believe ya could get lobbies still but yeah fr people were still playing on the PS3. I was only using the console because my PS4 at the time had gone boom boom so I pulled it outta the cupboard to see if online was still possible. Couldn't believe it lol. Anyway all the best 👍
