Gollum! Great video. Tip for new players: LOTRO is all about the journey so dont be in a rush to max level. I would highly recommend the level blocker and completing each area fully.

actually the pruchasable mount does need some explaination: you can buy a 68% mount from starting areas, and you get a 32% mount for free by a quest. there is no need to buy it. why leave this out?

I actually like the random spawns, keeps me very engaged and aware around me. The classic server Mordor has been a lot of fun overall!

Since 2018 I check every year if they finally added UI scaling and I always read some reply on the forums "They're working on it" lmao I'll try your solution, but I'm not hopeful. Thank you though.

I tried this app out, didn't like it, and ended up refunding it. All I cared about is whether the small text in the UI that was scaled up was crisp, and it was not. So, once every couple months or so, I'll search around to find out if proper UI scaling has been implemented in LOTRO, otherwise, I won't play it.

Just downloaded and going to give it a try soon. Will this still be a good experience on a regular server? Going to play for free as far as I can.

Durin - Downloading the game right now, glad to hear the legendary servers aren't just lazy re-releases of old content but also include new things like adjusted events and proper balancing, that's neat! Looking forward to playing LOTRO for a while this time, at least I hope I will~

I am from EU and the biggest issues I always had were the two dreaded "No EU Servers" and "Small UI". The latter I think I can fix this time with some trickery of puttin the game into native 1080p and then upscaling with nvidia control panel, the former is fine...For a while. Will there be EU "Normal servers" after this? I tried playing the game before and the lag made it SO janky, I just want EU servers for the game to stick around D:

I uploaded the file and selected buffbar but nothing happened. Do I need to do something in the game?

Really poor design. Why have them spawn in closed instances where you can't run away? It's unbelievably annoying. It makes me think the dev team are just lazy coz just a little market research could've avoided all these issues.

Just started last week on a normal server. It's super chill and immersive (though the store is a bit too ubiquitous IMO), and very respectful to the source material. I'll probably go VIP for the next Legendary server launch.

Moria was the worst part of the game for me. So depressing to be underground so long. I stayed out of it as long as I could and left it as soon as possible. No place for an Elf.

Black Dwarves... it's only a matter of time before he allows Elves to be black too. Not enough people are speaking out against him either. Is there a plugin that replaces the default map with something that isn't just a vague suggestion of where you're at and what's around you? I've wanted to get into this game for so long but every time I start playing I quit right after the tutorial zone because I can't deal with trying to look at a map and just seeing a little arrow on a medieval parchment with stylized drawings to ambiguously represent landmarks.

Is this not the same as enabling Nividas Super Resolution option in geforce now. Once its turned on and you lower the game resolution to 1080p it turns on and upscales to 1440p or 4k but Ui stays the same size. You can use it an any game especially if it dose not have dlss.

Gollum for sure. I think this is kinda a classic list cuz I've gotten these in the past, but not kept up on how to effectively use or maintain them. This little walkthrough of each really helped, though!

The added difficulty saves the legendary servers a bit for me. The only challange in SoA was when the Thrang challange happened and Rift 6 mans (or fewer/t2/) This gonna be really fun to play:) Durin
