@SkidooMXZTNT After some thought,I'd have to say the soft roll would be the one I like most. After all, it is a pickup and the box is often needed and I like the fact that it gets entirely out of the way. Takes longer to refasten but with velcro it's still pretty quick. I don't lock anything in the box so security isn't an issue.

No problem with leakage. As for the drains, I never got around to putting them in place for the video. I simply put them through two plastic plugs near the top of the box that drains water outside. Not sure about the yellow release, perhaps they changed the cover, check with Bison.

Ya I want to support Canadian brand but they keep dodging my question as to why they switched away from the yellow handle release which looks far more substantial and secure than the wire and all they said was we are still working on the clamp version and it will take some Time. Yet literally every video and photo they have on their website shows the handled version….suss.

There are plugs you can put into those holes that I found on Amazon. I just didn’t bother.

I like to be able to grab those and help me in the bed. I picked up one similar but I think I will send it back and get a TruXedo Lo Pro. Good video though.

@@stuartwhitaker7614 I’ve owned the Lo Pro and returned it. It was very nice, obviously more money but I’ve learned that unless the side rails actually go over the top of the truck bed, they leak water into the box quite a bit. Good luck with your decision.

I simply opted to drill a hole on each side in the plastic bed liner and found a hole in the box on each side

Do you have picture to share because I have the same plastic drop-in bed liner and I'm planning to buy the exact tonneau cover but don't know how I will deal with the drain tube.@@MrRiveter

I just purchased a bison cover for my f150, should be delivered today! What’s the point of the drain tubes if they are at the top of the box? Is it for air moisture content?

@@JTDPM Really didn’t care for it all. Although very classy looking, I couldn’t stand the starting and shutting off that went on all the time in town. On the highway, the hybrid aspect did nothing for the mileage. Everyone has their likes, this wasn’t mine.

No issues whatsoever. Just make sure the side rails aren't installed to tight to the tailgate.

If you’re looking to guarantee the safety of your property, there are better and more more expensive options. No trifold cover is secure.

Honestly if you are getting the same cover from Bison, this is incredibly easy to install

I’ve only made the two videos, one for my Ranger and now the Colorado and considering there was nothing about the Bison covers, I had to do it to let people know how good and affordable they are

There is no deadbolt, it’s a latch on each side only. I’ve never personally seen any with a deadbolt.

Yeah their website offers very little which is why I opted to make a video. The cover is worth every penny. It stays still and doesn’t move around if you tighten it down sufficiently. I’ve had no problem with rain or snow getting in. Just keep the supplied thick foam close to the back end when you install it near the cab bed rail.
