We saw him perform in 1973? BRISTOL England. ( not with the original players !) We were sitting in the 'wings' ( side of the hall) when he walked past us , off to the dressing rooms?,,,he had a black small suitcase in his hand...we shouted..'You got your money in there !...he said 'oh yeh '...

Toute la légende du JAZZ visitée puis dé_jouée par le maitre des scores les plus exigeants allant fleurter avec le free le plus exacerbé ; malgré que ce soit ses dernières prestances scéniques (ce qui me manque le plus sont ses cris pour pousser les multiples transcendances soloistiques de ses musiciens) ; heureusement le "Mingus big band" est là
