How many of our loved ones are 6 feet under because of these monsters? How many wives, husband's left widowed. How many children are left without their parents. Mothers that have to bury their children. But we're supposed to feel sympathy for these criminals.

So did they force him to admit to committing this murder or did he take the rap for his brother? He did it for his brother. People are acting like he is this great person who took care of his sisters growing up and now he is fighting a justice system that's done him wrong. Let's bring in the family of the person who was killed. This guy isn't the victim of justice system. I think he spit in the face of the family who deserved justice. He put what he wanted before that family. So what now he gets a new trial or new sentence. His brother is dead, so where is justice for that family. His selfish actions have only violated that family again. He is a manipulator and con man who has put his wants and his family before those he and his family have already victimized.

What about the victim? what about the victims family?? I find happiness in him saying its a real hell he's living in.Not one time did he mention the victim or the victims family.

Im a big-time opponent of the death penalty but not from a moral stance. There is a documentary about a guy in Mississippi in the early 80s i believe who was executed for a murder he didn't commit. Everyone, including the warden and guards, knew he was innocent, and actually, all of them quit after it happened. It's called something like "a death row documentary banned in the US" even though you can watch it in the US. I never get that emotional when watching it but if you watch it and still believe in capital punishment you a heartless fool. God would never approve of subjecting people to 20 years in a cage and then being executed for a murder they didnt commit. Only monsters do that and these corrupt prosecutors and judges are just that.

America's justice(sic) system is corrupt and racist. The police are corrupt and the prosecution is worse. They are working for their own political career. The so-called land of the free makes me sick.

Roger mentioned not having a hug in 15 years. I think that would break me, not touching my kids. Which is why I obey the law. Cops suck. They like to pick on people unless you are legit hurt and need emergency attention. I'm definitely not cut out to be a millitary wife, cops wife or prison guard wife. Nope. I'm glad Roger is off death row, that is fantastic news, but the news would be better if he were out and free. To still be in prison for a crime your now dead brother committed is insanity to me! Texas don't care who takes the blame for the murder as long as someone takes it. 😮🥺🥺🙏🏼🤷‍♀️

I really have issue with Roger playing the part of his family’s faithful martyr. It can’t be ignored that he thought it virtuous to allow his brother to remain in civil society, fully knowing that he posed a real threat to that very civil society. Roger temporarily spared his brother from punishment, but for what good? His brother continued to be a criminal and died doing so and any good that Roger may have been able to impart on his family has been lost. I’m not angry at the boy who signed a false confession; I’m angry at the man, 25 years later, who still thinks sacrificing himself was good and worthy.

It speaks volumes that people exist who can formulate torture chambers, but who cannot demonstrate their practice of any known Religion-except for display. Also more volumes have yet to be written regarding the ideation of how animals “ought” to be treated, but NOT people suspected/convicted of crime-because they aren’t people like the “real people.” When jobs, cars, dress-codes, homes & other “proofs” of status fall away, what KIND of inhumane conditions would ever be maintained & then adhered to by any kind of “society” on some planet of no particular distinction except its appetite for destruction? Then, they can convince who that they are “civilized” because they’ve avoided tightly-structured pitfalls?? Pitfalls they themselves designed & KEPT designing deliberately to ensnare the untouchables of their so-called “social status structure” into? It is true that people commit heinous acts against people-ideated & spawned in depravity, in pathology & in deprivation. Also true that many individuals have no success nor luck whatsoever in navigating their own ways out of tangles of of pathological impoverishment that they are born into-by systematic design. But it has yet to occur that anyone with Power to do so has eliminated hellish life conditions outside of prisons, identified & eliminated the causes of inhumanity, nor empowered those most victimized by it the most frequently to do anything at all about depraved man-made hellholes, other than attempting to “fix” their demeanor while they are facing hell. The final irony is that a complete stranger from France-concept has all the power, privileges, resources, & affluence necessary to make at least one or two “corrections” in a prison system dynamic that’s not even his own national concept’s fault. While those who own the state can’t be bothered to lift a finger toward setting ANY of it on a course toward “rightness” whatsoever. 🔹They SAY they have so many religions in the Bible-Belt that really religiously are Religions. This case & any others like it illustrate how very Big of a Lie that truly is. 🇫🇷

Most of the prisoners find God and salvation once they are in prison out of the world of all temptations and distractions. Eileen Wurnous, Faye Tucker, etc are some of the prime examples of inmates who became a noble inmate and started preaching Christ and forgiveness; however, it does not mean they did not commit the atrocities that they were convicted of.

These inmates cry out for justice and the unfairness of how they live, but who cries out for their victims, whose lives they took in brutal ways? Prison is punishment as a consequence of the bad choices they made. They get death sentences and wait for their execution date when their suffering will be over. But the victim's families are given LIFE sentences of grief and suffering that they can never escape. Inmates are where they are because they chose to be there. It''s sad that some innocent people are convicted of crimes they didn't commit and they should be freed, but many of the guilty profess their innocence till their dying breath. Let's not lose sight of the real victims here.
