Jazzing must be an alternate title for Foggy Mountain Special.

I was just thinking...could it possible get any better than Doc Watson playing with Flatt and Scruggs? Man, too bad those days are gone forever. Thank you, guys, for all you did and continue to do.

Yes, that is Doc on the guitar. I have this album, Flatt & Scruggs with Doc Watson "Strictly Instrumental." The Foggy Mountain boys are: Jake Tullock, bass; Buck Graves, Dobro; Paul Warren, fiddle. Also on this album: Charlie McCoy, harmonica; Grady Martin, guitar; Buddy Harmon, snare drum.

Although I'd not listened to it for ages, I've always liked Bluegrass ("Folk music with a supercharger!"). Flatt & Scruggs were the absolute epitome of Bluegrass.

Alan Lomax coined the phrase "Folk Music in overdrive" to describe bluegrass.

My favorite bands are The Flatt & Scruggs and The Wiggles.
