I've been talking about this impeding depression for the last year and a half with people around me, many didn't believe what I said about the housing market, about the economy, and about how we are about to hit a depression that rivals the great depression that will be much more significant as most households require two incomes (even single person households can require this depending on location), not necessarily thrive though many can thrive if they make the right choices. We are going to see a crash in housing that will be a reflection of the stock/coin markets, and will eventually lead to an inability for the average person to financially bounce back and continue to pay their bills. This is already happening on a smaller scale, but this scale with increase exponentially the longer we continue on trucking with the same issues in play. I think it would benefit the Canadian government to request a no-confidence election and have a new PM in place, however, we need fully understand the positives and negatives that come with each candidate to have the most beneficial outcome, however, it takes a long time for changes in the economy to reflect the changes in governmental choices and spending so while we won't see a true change for at absolute minimum a year (if not years), we need to make the decision now more than ever to try and redirect our countries future to something more sustainable for the people that live here.
