Chris Peterson says Jed was correct that the play wasn’t blocked correctly and that they had the look they wanted against WSU on a podcast for what that’s worth. Unless you mean how he handled it with the media after wasn’t correct which I’d agree with

Am I crazy to think Jonah Coleman might have a season carry limit in his NIL deal? Like he's trying to get to the NFL under a certain carry threshold, so that he's not seen as having been "used up" in college.
@LockedonHuskies11 сағат бұрын
That doesn't seem like the case, the trends from Fisch's time at Arizona show that he likes to have a heavy rotation at the position without any one player dominating the carries to keep guys fresh. In all three years there, he had 3 players with at least 60 carries

The Thing is technically sci-fi, but it's an all-time horror/sci-fi for me. Alien is wicked as well. Snickers, candy corn and Reese's PB cups!

Alien is super underrated as a horror movie. It's basically a haunted house in a Sci fi skin.

Do you guys know how many players will most likely hit the transfer portal at the end of the year and how many of them are currently key pieces to this year’s team? What happened to Maurice Heims?

There’s always player attrition. Any attrition gonna happen in the coaching staff? I’m guessing Steve Belichick will have generated a lot of interest by the end of the season.

Hey, guys let's be honest if the Huskies executed their plays on offense and defense the scores would have been different. The Huskies are still behind Oregon in recruiting and when it comes down to it they have Nike money who does the Huskies have ? . Its all about the MONEY ! Look you have to ask yourself why are our top recruits in state going to Ohio State and Oregon something missing the Huskies do not have one 5-star athlete on their roster but Oregon does why is that ? I mean what does it say when some of the top talent on the west coast wont even come here on a recruiting visit . We beat Oregon for the last two or three years yet Oregon is still out recruiting us. Something is wrong with that picture that should tell you something next to be fixed in recruiting where this should be highschool athletes first stop. No other university can compete with the location of the University of Washington Jedd wants the ability to bring in the top recruits we can't stop with improving the football department. JEDD is a coach and business man who seems to want the best of everything for the football team .

Fisch is an excellent recruiter which is why he was a better choice than Grubb. They had the speakers cranked up for their game prep practice last Thursday morning. The staff and players are all in. Fans need to temper expectations to account for season schedules that have annual games against the best teams from two combined conferences. Add coast to coast travel on top of attending school full time. Bluechip ratio, recuiting class rank, portal transfer rank, all matter. Every program wants to win but it takes talent, >50% 4 & 5 stars to contend for CFP. Oregon's unlimited Nike/Knight NIL is estimated at $23M for 2024. They are spending their way to success. B1G games are decided in the trenches. Linemen tend to have lower NIL valuations. We can leverage our NIL dollars by allocating more resources to building offensive and defensive lines. Teams in the upper half of the B1G have size and power in the trenches.

Obviously any loss hurts, but if Washington takes your advice and burns this film, you’re just ensuring another loss to Iowa the next time they meet. Big Ten football is all about great fundamentals, and Iowa relies on those more than most. What happened to the Huskies isn’t a fluke- it’s literally Iowa’s game plan each and every week. Both teams made plenty of mistakes, but Iowa was able to button it all down quicker to get the win. And once Iowa gets a couple score lead, that’s usually curtains for the other team. Washington’s offense is a lot of fun to watch. And man- you guys stressed Parker’s defense quite a bit. It was frustrating but impressive.

Still unacceptable Andrew Marsh is committed to Michigan as a WR, and Darius Afalava and Jaden Oneal are committed to OU. ZRS is on a god tier but they should be getting goin on 2026.

Why the hell do you keep saying it’s”unacceptable “ that out of state blue chip prospects that have zero connection to Fisch or Washington would choose to go to other quality programs?…..just nonsense…..not sure you understand how this works bud….

In terms of armon not playing for the last two seasons, is that just season ending injuries pre season or?
@LockedonHuskies4 күн бұрын
In 2022, he suffered a season-ending injury around the time that he signed, and in 2023, the coaching staff never made it clear why he didn't play. It seemed like the previous coaching staff wanted to take some time for him to develop.

Everybody loved Chris Petersen and he deserved it .but his record the first years were not what we expected I think this put this season in perspective It take time to build a winning program 2014: 8-6 2015: 7-6 2016: 12-2. Pac 12 championship and CFP 2017 : 10 wins or more 2018 : 10 wins Pac 12 championship As of July 12, 2024, the Washington Huskies' 2025 football recruiting class was ranked 17th in the nation by 247Sports. Just look at what Jedd F did in his first year recruiting with the Dawgs pretty impressive especially since he didn’t arrive until January after CFP . Just imagine what he will do being here for a whole year I rather have him as the Huskies coach the Deboer Because Jedd is a great recruiter it’s not even close The future for the Huskies will be exciting I will enjoy watching Jedd rebuild this program

Here’s the dealio… Iowa would smoke Michigan at home this year, might be a struggle on the road same goes out there in Washington, but they had the better defense. They have the better running game and they have the better special teams between all three of those programs. This year at least.

Expectations are way too high! First-year coach, a new system, a team with players who have never played together, The turnover the Huskies had. I am surprised they have won 4 games. I think Jedd is performing a miracle with what he had to do with this team last summer. Just think about the enormous amount of time he spent trying to keep players here and then having to recruit from the transfer portal. Has he made a few bad plays calls yes but in the long run I would take Jedd over Deboer every single day of the week all you have to do is look at his first recruiting 😢 I believe in Jedd. I think when you call a play you have to know your team's limitations that is all I have to say. Even though they got pummeled they still gained the opponents in all 3 losses. This team is not good enough to make mistakes but I say give them time they only played together 7 games I think by year's end this team will look a whole lot better go Dawgs!

@MongooseMan754 күн бұрын
Agreed. Offensively they need to utilize Jonah more, especially in the red zone. Defensively the problem is how to get better at stopping the run, but I feel like they’ll need one or two more seasons to develop a solid D line
