As much as I like this song, it doesn’t fit Squal and Rhanoa. It fits best with Laguna and Julia. A song about a guy who’s too shy to step forward tot all to a beautiful woman who is waiting for him to make a move. They both watch each other and the woman hopes and prays he has the courage to talk to her and be the man she wants him to be so that he’s not just a dreamer but the love of her life. She wants to comfort him and hear his heart beating as they hold each other. She wants to heal his wounds and smooth his aches. She wants to make a future with him and all he has to do is talk to her. The song was perfect for those two and should’ve been the song that played when they are at the bar. Then it should’ve played as Laguna meets Rhanoa and reflects on what might have been before thinking of Rhaine and his regrets about not being able to be with her one last time before she gave birth to their son (Squall). In the end the story was good and had a lot of generational threads that helped expand the universe and this song was very touching but I have to agree with a certain Spoony Bard, that the fine details and the kiddish BS brought this game down. With just a few tweaks this could’ve been something truly special and worthy of a saga long movie series. As it stands, it’s a brilliant epic told with a child’s dialogue and goofy pablum. A dirty Star that could’ve been but was obscured by circumstances and never allowed to flourish like the romance between Laguna and Juliet. Poetically tragic

The way Raine walks up to Laguna before he turns arounds and smiles at him... just beautiful. You really see the love she has for him. Such an incredible scene and song. Timeless.

Mane this song always make me wanna cry and I don’t even know why

I just found a right person for me unfortunately in the very wrong time. She is not that beautiful but a hardworking, passionate, and independent woman. Sometimes on some nights after work she would stand in the side of the road just to hear all of my concerns and thoughts. The way she give me her opinion about my matters is somewhat relaxing my mind. And of course I do love her voice, somehow is beautiful for my ears. I just wish that I found her earlier 6-7 years back. Maybe my life would be different, happier.. And this song is representing my thought on her..
