@@Carolyn-d5p No, the recipe is available on my website soap-chef.com or my Etsy shop @soapchefmolds Once you try this, you’ll never go back to store bought stuff again. It really works. Just follow the directions closely on mixing so it will stay in solution for the long haul. DMSO takes a little more time to incorporate. Hope you find relief. Leg cramps are the worst.

How do I convert the % to measurements, so I know how much to use of each? Also are all the ingredients you used the ones listed in the description of the sample soap recipe, or is there more I have to add to the recipe. Also what else could I use instead of the palm oil?

@@maceyknesek2088 you can go to WSP website. They have a % calculator that converts to ounces or grams. You can use whatever formula you want to make m/p soap. I'm really pleased with the way this one turned out, using the knowledge I've gained over the past year re: ASM's of surfactants and how to formulate using this method. *TIP* SLES is extremely thick and can be hard to dissolve fully. If you'd like to make a 25% SLES solution, take 100gm of SLES (70%) and whip it with a spoon until it resembles whipped cream. Add that to180 gm of water. Let sit for 4 days, stirring every few hours. After the 4th day, the SLES should have dissolved fully and you are left with a 25% solution of SLES that is pourable.

@TheSoapChef
@TheSoapChef Ай бұрын
Because of the structure of this particular cream, using dmso and msm, I wouldn't suggest any substitutes. I wouldn't be able to confidently say that it would be stable with substitutes. This cream, because of the ingredients, needs to be mixed precisely for it to stay in emulsion.

If you see 1 liquid component already in the dry mix before I start telling you all the other liquid ingredients, it's rice bran oil. You can or cannot include it in your own batch when making this. I included it in my own batch however, it is not part of the formula. You may find that the additional liquid makes your mix too wet and harder to form the "dough ball" in order to hand press the mix into a mold.
