This notion of "*what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas*" is a really false one. I don't know why people keep repeating it. It would be true if we were still in 1975, but we're not anymore! Drinking a glass too many can get you into trouble rather quickly. Drugs and prostitution will send you to jail even faster.

Many people think that Sharks and Whales (players from upper strata of society) go to Vegas to try to win money. They don't. They know that they are going to lose money. They know that they can afford to lose it. They have fun for a few days, then they go back to their respective businesses. To some extent, this has permeated the upper middle class. Many know that they are going to lose money, but they try not to lose more than they plan. Quite often that's not what happens. They lose a lot more than they had planned. A lot of people from the lower middle class do go to Vegas in an attempt to win money. These are the true gamblers, in my opinion. They play against atrocious odds, hoping that "luck" will strike them. And if it strikes once, they think that it can strike again. However, no amount of luck can defeat simple mathematics. So, if you are someone who wants to go to Vegas in order to win money, unless you are a poker pro, stay home, leave the money in the bank.

28:24 - those kids look so sad. I m sure they wished they were able to gamble to get their million dollars back. The mom looks like she is gonna make a runner if a richer sugar daddy comes along! Stallone s face still hasnt mended after 35 yrs of doing Rocky!! poor bastard Terry Fator still doesnt know how he made a 100million dollar deal like that!!!

Of course only a Brit goes to LV and has to rent a mint green Jaguar!! 4:45 - Mr MaGoo security guard almost falls asleep guarding $30million in cash. That s too funny 8:15 - Newman s brother is a dealer in LV?? Paris Hilton is holding her manager Snowball, he gets 50% of everything she makes!! Piers going on about the end of LV?? it's only a cycle and it will be back. The only way it will close is if the earth is hit by a huge meteorite and comet.
