Really appreciate the time you take in putting these together and annotating them so well. It makes it very easy to find the information we're looking for. I will just mention that I think you forgot to include the inside spots on one of the loops, roughly #331-338 which are sort of inside sites #351-367

Thank you for reviewing our home state park as we live just outside the park on the county road. Your video was done very nicely. The first area that you drive by as you get ready to turn into campground B is actually a bocce ball court.

@JKLMAdventures
@JKLMAdventures 6 ай бұрын
Yes, apologies. There are times (especially later in the summer/fall) when we aren’t able to capture all primitive sites. We try to record just after sunrise and usually can capture sites without a lot of people up yet. In the summer and fall sunrise is later and by the time we get to primitive sites, a lot of people are already awake and we aren’t able to capture as many. Also several of the primitive sites are set back in the woods and aren’t able to capture just by driving through.

LOVE Chain...great camping. 2 famous races are held there every year, IT 100 and The Huff 50K, runners from all over the world come to run them. If you ever come back, if you go into town right across from the Court house is the most awesome coffee shop called Fox Den, you have to try, they have some great made from scratch baked goods. Love the videos, could you guys do a video on towing with you truck and how does it tow and whats ur guys camper weight. Thank you
@JKLMAdventures
@JKLMAdventures 8 ай бұрын
Thanks! Glad you like the videos! We may need to leave the towing videos to the experts….we are still somewhat new to hauling a trailer and still figuring things out. We have an F150 and we can’t recall exactly what the camper weighs. I know we check tow capacity against weight and made sure we left room for things added to the camper and truck bed. We did purchase a weight distribution hitch. Ideally I think I’d prefer to pull with a little more power, but we haven’t had any issues with our current set up.

Just did the Narrows 10/11/23 on a beautiful ( Mid 70's ) day. We only had time to hike up about 2 hrs including the paved trail beginning. We didn't rent anything, just wore shorts, hiking boots and brought our own hiking sticks. Didn't bring a change of clothes, the dry desert air dried us out in a couple hours. Had a great time, truly amazing to see!

Sorry, I don’t know. The river was pretty shallow when we kayaked it….maybe 3’ on average for the section we kayaked. There are places to pull off to the shore on the lake, but that’s also shallow near shore….at least for the places that we boated and kayaked on Mississinewa Lake.

Hillbilly Golf is the absolute worst thing in the Smokies. It took us over 2 hours to play. 10 minutes to get tickets, 50 minutes waiting for the incline ride to the top, 30 minutes to play, and 30 minutes waiting in line to ride back down. 2 hours and $60 to play putt putt was insane! This was on a Wednesday at 3 pm.
